I would personally choose MASH... only because it has brought me so many hours of entertainment.... I know there a lot of recent series that are good in many ways.. but that would be my all time fav... based on longevity.
PLEASE think your answer through... dont just give your recent fav... or the favourite of the week... looking for ALL TIME FAVOURITE SERIES.

If you are talking about a show in its entirety, meaning all seasons judged together, then I would say for a drama series The Sopranos wins hands down. In terms of a sitcom comedy series I would have to say Seinfeld.

Good point with the Sopranos... but the last season sucked... rumour has it the new season ..or the second half of the last season that starts in april is going to be VERY good... someone comes back from the dead ...etc... it also ends in a huge cliff hanger... followed by 2 major motion pictures.

MASH was a great series until Alda took control and people started to leave. The first few years rank definately in top 20 sitcoms of all time. The movie is definately in top 20 of all comedys.

I agree that the show wasnt the same as in the early years... but overall the most enjoyment for me.
