Best Steak and seafood in the WEST end (Etobicoke to Oakville)

In the spirit of the East End steak and seafood restaurant recommendations how about covering the West End too.

I'll start with Zorro's on Torbram (north of Derry) , which is also right across the Million Dollar in case you may want to get a few lap dacnes before or after steak.

A second recommendation is La Castile on Dundas just west of 427.

I like seafood but boiled lobster and grilled fish are not my favorite methods of preparation. I prefer prepared seafood, like Chinese ginger lobster or shrimp with lobster sauce.

Can anyone recommend to me a seafood dish I might like at a seafood restaurant.

The Black Angus on the south side of Bloor, east of Islington Ave. Great food, and have been there for many years.

I'm guessing that you haven't been there in a while. It has been closed since February of this year, and may never reopen.

Trattoria Trimone is a classic great place in Oakville and great food

La Castile is one of the best . Agree, Also now the Canon Creek is good.

I am with you for Zorro's, and i liked when they make caesar salad dressing right in front of your eyes. I've been going there for long time know most waiter too.

I was there on Saturday and had the Caesar. They do not do the table side presentation during Christmas season. It is too crowded.

Never been to Zorro's, La Castile is outstanding. Never been a fan of Ruth Chris's, not into American corn fed beef (Alberta oats feed beef is better) and it's too expensive.

If your looking for something different, why not Yang's Steakhouse and Tepanyaki Bar. The samurai chefs will entertain your date and they have Kobe beef on the menu. It's on the north side next to Vaughan Mills.

Have enjoyed Scorpioes SP// on Dixie Rd. North of 401.
Buddy and I have been going since mid 90,S
Steve and Van would have our
dinner and drinks ready by the time we sat down.
Great customer service. Does anyone know were Steve and Van ended up?

Trattoria Timone has a great menu and a cosy place but my favourite is still BLU Restaurant in Yorkville a cosy table for 2 under the stairs behind the bar .......very private

There was a major fire at Black Angus in Etobicoke back in February. Their web-site is still up so let's hope they get back in business soon. These things can take a lot of time and I'm sure the age of the building did not help.
