Boy, there's a blast from the past. Piasanos

Wow
Many people didn't know that when they moved from bayview village, they opened a place on willowdale a few years later. God I miss the way they used to make their pizza. That's the crappy part about the way society is going. Gone is the days of lots of ma and pa places. It's all shitty chain stuff now.

Just got back from Fiamma (Mississauga - Eglinton) and this time was by far the best pizza I had in the GTA. The flavour reminded me of the way it's made in Europe. I had the pizza Americana and was simple but cooked in wood burning oven and the crust was perfect and so much flavour. This pizza is ment to be eaten with a fork and knife. If you are a North American pig who thinks you eat pizza with your hands forget coming here :p j/k In Europe they all think like this and is very funny they way these fuckers think they are better then everybody else including many of the EU MPA. I was born there :)

Anyways, you will not regret trying this palce as it has a very unique taste and is cooked and prepared perfectly. By far the best in GTA and even better then I tried it here a couple of years back. If you do go, do it during a busy time such as Friday or Saturday night.

Another positive about this place is that it has a good ambiance and a good selection of vine.

Of the big chains, most are crap, but Pizza Pizza is better than Pizza Hut and Dominos. In this case, the Canadian crap has a slight edge over the American crap.
Pizza Pizza = Brutal, not sure how they got to be so damn popular, they suck. For chains, I'll take Pizzaville and Pizza Nova any day.

Pizza Pizza is not good, it is dull, unless you are hungry.

My vote: PIZZAVILLE.

The funny part is, I think pizza pizza is terrible, but love pizza pizza from rogers centre, ACC and a few other places. It's because the pizza pizza at rogers centre and ACC isn't actually made by pizza pizza, it's done by a catering company called Aramark. They should buy out pizza pizza and do it the way the do at the ACC and rogers centre, I'd order all the time...lol.

You sure it's not the alcohol you may have consumed (if that's something you do) that is clouding your judgement and confusing your taste buds?

nope, cause I have 3 friends who concur. Its a different company that makes it so it makes total sense.

I have to stand up for Pizza Pizza. I especially like their New York style pepperoni and their panzerottos.
Can someone explain Domino's pizza to me. I tried it once and it was one of the worst pizzas I ever had. Was it just a poorly made pizza?

Domino's is shite! I don't know how they stay in business. I'd rather eat Pizza Pizza and I find that vile too. I am, however, going to try the Aramark variation of Piza Pizza next time I'm at the ACC or Skydome to see if it really is different.

Great option, especially for Take Out, but for thin crust might as well go nearby Jane & Annette: Queen Margherita Pizza :thumb:

• 900° wood fired pizza oven, made in Naples
• Caputo Tipo 00 flour, imported from Italy
• San Marzano DOP tomatoes, imported from Italy
• Fior di latte mozzarella made in Ontario exclusively for Queen Margherita Pizza
• Hand tossed artisanal pizza made by trained pizzaioli
Never been there, but everything you've described is key!

Doppio Zero on Eglinton (between Spadina and Avenue) has great traditional thin crust.. And the best white pizzas! (hold the tomato sauce)
