No big deal or loss to me. Sun media units are mainly geared to those folks who cannot read very well and have short attention spans.
Thats not fair to say, I mean I.......hey look a blue jay!

Honestly The Sun is something I read for sports only and its the best in the city for that Id say, otherwise its a piece of shit and as Burke said only good if you own puppies or parakeets

Tried to watch it and it was a snoozefest.
The on-air personalities have no personalities.

They should get TV people involved, not Harper's former bumboy Tenayacke (or however he spells it). Attacking the CBC is fun once but over and over and over. Who TF cares? What a waste!
I will take Fox News south any day over this crap.

The most annoying part may be the Sun News hosts interviewing other Sun News hosts.

Up next, Ezra Levant interviews Theo Caldwell, followed by Caldwell interviewing Charles Adler. And then, Adler will have a special interview with Ezra Levant.

Well if you follow the link in the OP, you'll see that according to the completely impartial news source, Sun News Network is fielding thousands of e-mails and phone calls from viewers who are upset that they can't watch the upstart news channel on Bell's service package. And according to the Toronto Sun, Sun News had an outstanding first week. I guess all the reports of low ratings are just a big smear campaign by the liberal mainstream media.

It's the political equivalent of a 3 watt religious station, but the true-believers who are the only ones swallowing their drivel are political right-wingnuts. Although they may be religious ones too; who can say? The bad Canadian movies they used to run were more intelligent, and had more intelligent content. I guess Ezra Levant's given up all hope of a real job in the mainstream.

The whole thing seems cheaply done. As soon as I tuned in I thought the way it was presented was cheesy to say the least. Like an earlier poster said the sets look cheap. The picture on the HD channel actually looks grainy. I think Quebecor either put in a miniscule startup investment or they just didn't put enough money behind the thing. After the Osama news broke I started to flip to different news channels to see their coverage. An hour after the news broke Sun News was still playing their prerecorded shows that I could've watched at 6pm. It's like they pack up at 6 on a Sunday and no matter what happens there is no one there to "mind the store". When a story like Osama's death breaks you have to preempt your planned programming or I don't think anyone will take the station seriously. I would say that Osama's death was Sun News first test on a major news story and they failed miserably

No question - Sun "News" is the LAMEST TV start-up in history. Vapid, dim, dumb hosts babbling on and on an on - the ego that is Ezra Levant is unbelievable.

They'd better fix things, and fix 'em quick. Poerre Karl Peladeau could lose his ass on this one - except that his investmment is apparently only $1.98/

I watched the new format for 10 minutes & couldn't take it anymore. I figured what a waste!

I'm actually happy it's not being carried by Bell Expressvu anymore. It was crap!

However, i'm pissed that they dropped the HD Net channel, which i liked very much & one of the reasons i had initially subscribed to high definition programming. I loved to watch the concerts on that channel, plus Dan Rather's reports. At first i thought it had went down altogether, but was surprised to see it still being broadcasted on Shaw TV a week or so later. Anyone know why Bell dropped HD Net?
