I’m known to be on the deposit fence. I see the need and usefulness but my brain has been programmed that deposits some with a contract only. Which doesn’t apply to escorting. So I have personally stuck to screen, booking a small amount of time for the first time, or just taking the chance.
But I also don’t specifically book a hotel for each appointment. Other then last year, I worked from my private home so no loss of money based on expense. I have been fortunate that way.
I think deposit depend on you and your personal needs.
I will tell any lady in the business to never “quit”. Semi retire, take regulars only, be so low volume you take maybe a client a month.
But never given up a chance for a second income source Especially one that is so easy to work around time wise. It’s not like juggling two part time or even full time jobs and getting the hours at both places to work and not overlap. You generally don’t have that problem with escorting.

I never said that women don’t retire. I said women should not completely retire. Be indy, heavily screen, become low volume, do outcall only, but don’t give up a second income source if you don’t have to.
I preach multiple income sourcing all the time. It is often what can save people when emergencies happen and finances are strained. Perfect example is COVID. If you worked 9-5 M-F but did Uber one weekend a month, Uber would have been able to become a temporary main source instead of the secondary when COVID made places shut down. You wouldn’t have been without any money. Maybe some but not all.
Multiple income streams help with being able to save more is another reason to do it. If you manage fine on 9-5 but a weekend once a month doing something else, that second income can go straight to investments which when done right can be a third income stream.
It is not rocket science. It is proven science that multiple income streams, if available are better then a single one.

I have heard many escorts say they are against dating with the average man expecting to get laid after $50 dinner. Is this the only reason sex workers are not interested in regular men. Do you find when going back to a non sex work job that the money is too low, with average wages only going as high as $48 dollars after 25 years in majority female jobs.
I would agree with being on the deposit fence. I dont know how i feel about it to be honest. From a gents perspective i get why sp's ask for one and i personally have given deposits to girls who i desperately want to see and its just their policy to ask for a deposit which i respect but the whole thing just becomes so contractual and and sometimes ruins the sensual vibe before even seeing the girl.
