I stand corrected. Summer McIntosh had the leading heat time in the 200 meter medley. She races for Gold tomorrow at I believe 3:08 pm Toronto time.
My apologies. It's hard to keep track of all the races. You have heats and finals. Then all the swim styles. Throw in medleys and team relays and their are quite a lot of events.
I'm projecting Summer to be the star of the Los Angeles Olympics. She's already a star, but L.A. is perfect for her.
I don't know if anyone caught Saturday's exciting finish of the 4x400 mixed relay. The long-legged Dutch woman chased down the young American in the final leg of the race. Glamorous Lieke Klaver was on that Gold medal relay team.
Too bad. Molly Caudery had a terrible day. She opted not to vault at lower marks which would have advanced her to the final. She ten failed her three attempts.
There's always something phallic about a beautiful woman running with the pole.

Gabby Thomas looks so sweet and fine off the track. When the gun goes off, she turns into a machine.
Ireland's Sharlene Mawdsley - sprinter from Tipperary. Paris is a long way from Tipperary.
