I'm thinking in most cases these dancers know what they are doing, they're deliberately making the numbers knowing fully well that most gents will choose to pay than embarras themselves by arguing. The worst part of it is that these dancers either don't think guys catch on to these ripoffs or don't care about no repeats to the CR. I agree though, most regulars are honest and don't play this game. They are more focused on gaining client loyalty and repeat invitations to the CR.

I believe a tiny minority do this on purpose too. It is really not that difficult to count. I can tell from their faces when they respond when I ask them how many songs it was (I always ask at the end). They stare at me expecting or awaiting an argument to the contrary (which I never do as it is not worth it) and when I pay without debate then I see their faces very happy and somewhat surprise as well.

There are other tactics as well being used recently lets beware of them.

1- Engaging you in a conversation while dancing hoping that the patron is distracted and lose the count of the songs. Or just trying to converse so that they don't have to dance. I don't mind conversing except not when I am paying $20 for every 3 to 4 minutes.
2 - Starting in the middle or towards the end of the song and counting it as a full song
3 - Sitting on patron's lap giving the impression that they are waiting for the next song whereas in their mind they have started already.
4 - And of course upping the number.

My policy is to boycott when I am sure this has happened. They usually come to me the next time and my response is to thank the lady for asking but to pass on the offer. So those few who do that will gain some $20 to $40 in short term but lose much more in long term. It is best to ask the (new to me) dancer at the end of second song the question (how many songs so far?) and if they say more than 2, then I end it immediately.

As mentioned it is a tiny minority but I need to mention that there are also many who are honest especially if they are new to the profession. Stacey and Stephanie both reviewed before and Minx as another example and other honest ones always mention when a song is over and ask me if I wish to continue for another song. These dancers gain my trust and I love them more and will repeat every chance that I get. I also relax and enjoy my time with them because I don't have to worry that they are going to gouge and charge me a fortunate at the end.

Jesus Christ. This isn't difficult, guys.
As soon as you get to the booth, let her know that she can start at the beginning of the next full song. Tell her to get comfortable.
Count out loud yourself. "That's one." "That's two." "Let's go three." Etc.
Show a little backbone and take charge. I'm not going to pay for fries if I didn't get fries. That's just stupid.

The last time I was there, the exact opposite happened. I was with one of my regulars and she lost count. I used to dance and am a bit OCD about counting things sometimes, so I knew exactly how many songs it was. I may have distracted her a bit, as well. My fault. Anyway, I counted more songs than she asked for and I made sure that she got the money she earned. Don't be a wimp, but don't be a shitheel either.

I assume that usually most patrons go out to have fun and make friends and have a good time not to be bossy or take charge or be in control (as they say to make love not war) and in 95% of cases it works fine and pays off. As we said it is a tiny minority who may overcharge. Granted I may lose a green or two here and there once in a while but it is not worth spoiling the night or losing concentration or miss out on anticipated hugs and kisses every time and focusing on counts instead, or God forbid risk offending the dancer. Not everyone is a crook (by out loud counting I may presume just that) and I assume innocent unless proven guilty in latter case as I said I boycott her. That said to each their own. People are different and we all have different choices and preferences and I respect yours and thank you for your advice which others may wish to follow.

Personally I always intend to count out loud "1, 2, 3" after each song, but like Kilt Boy both my regular and myself lost count the last time. I tipped her a song just incase because I think she danced for more songs than she thought. And I don't think counting out loud equates to assuming the dancer is a crook, but to each their own.

Does buying a drink pay off for you?
Not worth opening a new thread but I have a question and that is if anyone has experienced buying the favorite dancer a drink of her choice before the CR while she is sitting with you just before heading to Champagne room and if yes then what affect did it have on the service you received in the CR? I am curious because I feel that I receive a much better time in the CR (in my case more hugs and kisses and friendly encounter) whenever I buy the lady a drink. In my case I feel for the price of half a song I enhance the time in the Champagne room a lot. Any similar experience or comments I am curious to know.

That's an interesting observation Hugs_Kisses. It sounds like a good investment. I will try this next time I visit one of the clubs, usually Barbs.

A very quiet night at Barefax so that I left early at 10 in order to explore Ottawa nightlife in a hot September night (rare) the bar was about to get crowded mostly with young students. As for Ottawa nightlife nothing like Montreal nightlife but tonight Ottawa was not too bad either.

Back to strip bars, I had dances with Minx at Fax. We had a long conversation before heading to CR which made the CR experience more pleasant. Btw, news for Minx fans, she is going to have her dark hair back again gradually (her natural hair is black she is going brown) which in my view would be great also she would stop tanning which is double great (I prefer pale brunettes). Stephanie (pale brunette) was not there but Stacey with short blonde hair now wearing glasses was there. I did see a few new faces but didn't explore further as I am cutting down on strip bars gradually. I stayed only for an hour and only said hi to Stacey when I was with Minx.

Does buying a drink pay off for you?
I have not found this to be the case but still buy my favourite dancers a drink prior to CR time. I see this more as a respectable move on the part of the patron rather than about trying to get further mileage in the CR. In addition, it is enjoyable in it of itself to sit with your favourites sharing a drink, and even do shots with them before the CR. Lots of fun and laughs typically follow. Having a slight buzz going into the CR also adds another dimension to the SC experience, where all the elements aren't so cerebal and I can be very relaxed and chill. The SC doesn't have to be such a serious, sexually tense place, drink a bit with your favourites and have some fun while you're there.

So to answer your question - yes buying a drink does pay off but not in the way that you meant it.

I did not mean higher mileage in sexual terms. My post said better time in the Champagne room when you buy your favorite dancer a drink and that for me is not mileage but rather stronger emotional attachment and relaxation in the CR with more hugs and kisses and mutual trust. Buying a drink and conversing before heading to CR in my view is just an ice breaker leading to better time in the CR.

It is like when you meet a girl in a dance bar or discotheque. You ask her directly without a word for a dance you both may go to the dance stage both tense and say nothing and then end of the song you thank her and the encounter is all over OR you may buy her a drink first, talk to her, get to know her and her knowi you, earn her trust and then both go to dance stage and dance together while continue conversing and smiling and likely followed by hugging and kissing too. There is No sex or mileage in the dance bars.

Oh I see - misunderstood what you meant by "pay off". Then yes, buying drinks before CR is a great addition to the SC experience.

I am visiting from out of town. Stopped by barefax tonight. I took a very tall slim leggy blonde to the CR for a few songs. Not sure her name but she was from Montreal but said she has been here for few years. Not sure if it helps but ahe didn't have much of a French accent, likely 5 foot 10, a cups, amazing tight body with a piercing below. Had a tatoo that said daddies girl on her hip.

In any case the time in the CR was unbelievably good.

Charlie. Wow. I have seen her two times in two days. Knockout blonde with a great body. The CR visits are unreal. She is a super fun girl to share a drink with, laugh with and have a sexy time with. Her laugh brings out a huge smile to my face. Wonderful lady.

They finally got rid of the Ottawa/Canada 2017 thing out front and freed up the parking spaces again. That should help a lot.

Are you referring to Inspiration Village? lol....that was awful. Cargo containers with videos and nothing interesting to see. Painful.

When does Minx usually work? I used to visit her once in a while at the Nuden late Friday afternoons.
Dropped by Barefax on a Friday afternoon a few weeks ago, but no Minx sighting, Does she only work evenings? If so, which days?

Minx works evenings but more likely Friday evening and some Saturday evenings too after 8:00 pm.

I spent a little time with Skyla and Nikita yesterday. They have come across the river for a little while (undisclosed reasons).

I was not terribly impressed with Skyla, mostly because of the unhealthy smell that filled the booth.

Nikita used to dance at Barb's a couple of years ago, which is where I remember her from. She has lost a lot of weight and gotten an enhancement (I think), and while that didn't hurt, I just didn't get a great experience. Don't get me wrong; she was going for gold. I just wasn't feeling that excited about the whole thing.
