Really sad what has happened to Barefax. Friday afternnon used to be quite busy, it was my preferred day. Thanks for the situation report..

My best memory on Friday afternoons at Barefax are time I spent with Jenna and Tamika , stage dances with short breaks and free buffet. This pandemic ruined everything. Montreal strip bars are almost back to pre-pandemic days may be Barefax and Pigale will soon too.
Was there on Saturday night. Saw Ally. She is definitely one of the prettiest dancers I have ever laid my eyes on.
There were alot of beautiful dancers at Bare Fax on Friday night. New , young, and fresh. I blew several hundred $, couldn't help myself. Serenity my new favorite.
The entire Byward market was rockin' like I haven't seen for a few years. There is one night club on Dalhousie where the most gorgeous black girls you have ever seen were lined up outside, waiting to get in. They would all be about 45 years younger than I am...

Wow I've had the best time every year at the Xmas party great food women galore disappointing I don't visit clubs at night I'm a daytime guy

Night time opening is not much better than daytime closure these days. I have dropped by Barefax for two Saturday nights (between 11 pm to midnight) past few weeks. Very dead. Stage dances include taking off the bra only for 7 out of 8 dancers I saw on those two occasions. Dancers not making money which is sad and not happy to do well. Panties don't come off even in private dances for most till well into the 3rd song. Not to mention the downtown George street traffic and parking nightmare. August has traditionally been slowest time for strip bars. Hopefully it gets better when we move into the fall.

I was there Friday night, around 10 or so, not many men, but back-to-back dances from dozens of young pretty women, mostly petite small-breasted women, many new faces, one of which sported a bejewelled butt plug. I saw a lot more women and men flopping on stage with bills for the dancers, which was nice to see that again after such a long COVID-induced hiatus. I was talking with one dancer who said she was from Club 77, Salem, and was there with others from Club 77.
As usual, guys started pouring in after 11, so around midnight or so, it was getting more difficult to get a drink, and I was heading out, but then Shakira came on stage, and so I just had to stay. The crowd was enthusiastic as she always has such a high performance show, just really spectacular when you compare to the usual walking back and forth on stage. As far as I could tell, the women took everything off on stage, but I did not manage to find what the mileage was like upstairs, although conversations confirmed how it used to be in the daytime, but I have yet to try Friday afternoon again to see if that mileage is back.
One thing I experienced a couple of times that night which I had not seen before, is where two women approach one patron and strike up a conversation. As I was out of money, and was winding down, I had no problem saying "No, thank you." but what if I had been interested in one of them? Would I have to tell the other one to get lost? Or would I have been expected or pressured to take both of them? As I say, it wasn't an issue, but I'm not sure how I would handle that in the future.
Another thing I noticed, they have new speakers on the floor which are extremely loud and very trebly, so much so that I had to give up my beloved stage seat because my ear was hurting. Once I moved to a table where the column blocked the speaker, it was okay, but still horrible music, in my old opinion.
All in all, glad to see the Fax bust-ling again!

Did the shooting in Ottawa last night start with something at the Barefax?
All of the pictures in the news show the yellow taped off area to be in front of Barefax.
It wouldn't be the first time there has been a shooting outside of a strip club..

is this club open? Im planning a trip to Ottawa before the snow flies and would appreciate the intell.
They're open after 6 PM every day except Friday, when they open at 11.30 AM. I used to be a regular but they never went back to their pre-pandemic hours, so as a daytime only customer they pretty much lost my business (I'm rarely in town Fridays).
I would come for that, even if I had to wear a mask. I really missed the Thanksgiving party.
I think I probably won the last television at the last Christmas party that they'll ever have. I immediately sold it to one of the girls. I got a pretty good deal. Pretty good.
Ive always had a blast at those BF Christmas parties… I know that the PM has changed there dates and aiming for the 16th
, maybe we can hit both places
