Carling, in a state which for decades has been dominated by the Democratic Party. In a city dominated by the Democratic Party and where the mayor and a majority of the City Council are black, and in a country where the President for the past seven years has been a Democrat, trying to blame the failure of the Great Society on Republicans just doesn't fly!

As you can see from this photo of his arrest (and if you can stomach watching the video on the linked page), Freddie Gray was clearly already suffering from advanced asthma and lead poisoning even as he was being arrested.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...hows-Freddie-Gray-in-agony-during-arrest.html

And while it might appear that he is screaming in agony, he is actually just tripping balls on maryjane or some other nasty drug, and vocalizing to psyche himself up to sever his own spine once in the paddywagon. I hope this settles the issue once and for all and those thugs can stop pretending to be angry while they steal toilet paper now.
The chief of police in Baltimore just announced they have video footage from a private party of an unreported stop by the police van, before any injuries were reported.
If that's the case, there could very well be charges against the police, which may be about the only thing to bring some peace to the area.

and one can blame who in this matter?...the politicians that cut education funding to allow for tax breaks for the new redevelopment of Baltimore's downtown? thanks Gov Hogan (R)
Bullshit. How about personal responsibility? How about absentee black fathers? How about stupid liberal policies that won't allow charter schools? How about women who have 6,7,8 kids by 4 different men and no plan to support those? You're blaming a Republican Governor whose been in office for 4 months, are you fucking kidding me???? Liberals have run this city (into the ground) since the 1960's.

Once again Liberals ignore facts. Now they are calling these thugs who looted, assaulted police officers and set buildings on fire "misguided". That Mayor of Baltimore is a complete knucklehead as are some of the city councillors.

Looks like everything will be alright. Al Sharpton arrived on the scene.

If all this is true because I don't know the political background of Maryland and in particular Baltimore, then yeah, you can't blame a single political party.
lol wtf?

Stay in skewl.
As for parenting, well hopefully a lot of mothers learned what good parents do when they see (or know that their kid is involved) in rioting.

I don't see eye to eye with KD much, but looks like the Dems own this own. But really, in the grand picture, government does not give a flying fuck about anyone but themselves, let's be honest.

As well, when you have women who have multiple children with multiple baby daddies and no way to support them, then yeah... problem there.

Seemingly the Washington Post article was dead wrong.

In currently breaking news the State's Attorney (Marilyn Mosby) has announced that one police officer has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, assault, and misconduct in office. A supervisor has been charged with manslaughter, assault, false imprisonment, and misconduct in office. Two officers are charged with assault, false imprisonment, and misconduct in office. Two officers (including a supervisor) are charged with manslaughter, assault, and misconduct in office.

I seem to vaguely remember reading that NYC changed their welfare system many years ago to provide free housing for mothers as young as 16 provided there was no man living in the household.

The evidence presented to the State's Attorney's Office must have been extremely damning, otherwise they rushed their fences, because bringing charges like these having had only a day to review them is to put it mildly extremely unusual.

Hopefully this will help quiet down the unrest and start making police more accountable.

If the State's Attorney secures convictions on all six in a trial that is seen as fair outside Baltimore that will be one thing. If she fails to obtain convictions on most or all of the charges - the prosecutions will be seen as having been political and her future will then depend upon the City of Baltimore uniquely in Maryland functionally being its own county.

WOWWwwwwhhh......It took women to do what men, or should I say "little boys", could not do across the land !
Do you mean the assistant prosecutor who resigned after this tweet?
"So I am watching the news in Baltimore and see large swarms of people throwing bricks, etc at police who are fleeing from their assaults ... 15 in the hospital already. Solution. Simple. Shoot em. Period. End of discussion. I don't care what causes the protestors to turn violent...what the 'they did it because' reason is...no way is this acceptable. Flipping disgusting."

By the way, it really doesn't look good that before the cops who killed Gray were arrested, the police went and arrested the man who videotaped the arrest.

Baltimore law enforcement is really not looking good.
