Just cuz I love avocados! In a salad, as a guacamole, or even just filling it with cottage cheese and eating it with a spoon. :) Appreciate the avocado!

I found a love for avocado's for more than just guacamole. I use them in salads as well, sandwiches and a few with a plateful of eggs after a workout.

This may sound strange but try it, cut the avacado in half and take the nut out. Baste with an oil of your choice and sprinkle with salt and pepper, place face down on a hot grill for a minute or two then turn onto the skin side and let it sit for another minute. Fill the nut hole with equal amounts of sour cream and salsa. Serve and eat it right out of the skin.
And please feel free to make jokes out of my use of the term "nut hole"

A grilled bacon and avocado with cheddar cheese on a 7 grain bread is better in my opinion . Very hardy , high in protein and fiber ...yum !

I love a toasted tomato, cheddar, and avocado sandwich. :) Trying to cut back on bacon.

An avocado a day gives you a flatter tummy! I sometimes like to mix it with egg and make a hair mask for more refined curls.

Great for your skin too. I sometimes do a face mask. Makes your skin feel like a baby's bottom.

Love avocados and avocado oil. Avocado oil is great in salads and has the highest smoking point of any of the cooking oils (500 F). It's available at Costco for $11.99 per L.

Is this a thread about Italian lawyers?

I usually just slice them open, sprinkle them with some garlic salt and eat them with a spoon. I also prefer guacamole on burgers instead of cheese.

I also make a grilled meats sauce using avocado.

The ingredients: avocado, habanero puree, maple syrup, green tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in a blender with water (your choice of thickness), no cooking required.

Interestingly enough, avocado oil has more nutritional value than olive oil.
