He isn't squeezing her throat. He isn't forcing her to the ground. He backs her into another cop and the other cop assists with an arrest. If she was resisting that sounds like reasonable force to make an arrest to me. He didn't injure her. He didn't take punches at her. He didn't kick her. He and his cop buddies didn't pile on.

What do you think actually happens when cops arrest people who are resisting?.... Eventually the arrestee is going to be physically forced to submit. That's how it happens.

She's being arrested. So yes, they restrain her. She's in a chokehold. It's reasonable force to accomplish the arrest. You ever seen an arrest actually happen in real life?

At the end, she is still resisting arrest and he is trying to grab her wrists and cuff her. It's a legit arrest.

I remember when I was a kid watching the news and seeing Daley's Chicago PD break up a hippie anti war demo outside the '68 Democratic Convention. The cops waded into that crowd with riot sticks and there was blood all over those kids. What happened with that girl was pretty mild.

I’m not saying that if she was resisting she shouldn’t be restrained but there is a proper way to do and that was totally not it. Period.

I will add I saw nothing wrong with him on her when she was on the ground. It is the direct choking and holding her by her neck that I take issue with.

If a supposedly trained law enforcement officer can't restrain and subdue a female quite a bit smaller than him without wrapping his hands around her throat then he needs to be sidelined and retrained.

Usually I defend the police but they are using obvious excessive force in the videos I have seen and posted. In this video age you're going to get taken to task for that.
