The fact that is even legal messes with my mind.

Seems the gift was a Christmas present which they happened to give the kid a month early. I suspect the prosecutors have evidence they gave him the gun despite knowing what was going on (or even bought him the gun because he was being bullied).

I'm all for RESPONSIBLE firearm ownership and use. But if what I'm reading is true, and these parents gave a handgun to a 15 year old child who clearly had mental health problems, then they are fucken idiots to say the least.

The report I heard specifically said 4 or more people shot. Approx 650 in the U.S. so far this year.

Sheessh, giving a 15 year old boy a semi automatic weapon for Christmas. I grew up in a different time and place. My parents gave me an air rifle.
