Morris, Cone, Stewart and Clemens were short-termers on the Jays. I opted for talented guys who spent the majority of their careers with the club and defined certain eras.

I would assume Ward and Henke as 8th and 9th inning. Any suggestions for long relief and situational lefty?

For long relief, I'd suggest Dennis Lamp for his '85 season (11-0, 3.32 ERA, 105.2 IP, 1.164 WHIP).
Situational lefty, the first name that comes to mind is Scott Downs.

How could I have forgotten Mark Eichhorn? His '86 season was spectacular: 14-6, 1.72 ERA, 157 IP, 0.955 WHIP. If he had a few more innings he would have won the ERA title.

Need to put some playing time as a parameter. Some great but short termers have been mentioned such as Molitor, Cone, Clements, Morris. Then there was the likes of Winfield, Henderson, Parker, Singer, Wilson. I would set a 3 year minimum to be eligible.

Some good players over the years but they do come up a little short in the catching department don't they?

J.P. for all of his short comings isn't looking to bad when you think of it.
