Tom Macdonald's lyrics are written by his Jamaican girlfriend Nova Rockefeller, who also directs and produces his videos. He grandstands a lot, he's a clickbait rapper, and most of his fans are conservative white males. He's not well respected amongst the hip hop crowd.

Tom's music isn't very creative, he just makes music about what's trending in the media. If Nova leaves him, I suspect the quality of the music goes down tremendously. She's already admitted to writing his catchy hooks. He's okay, but not great.
