You can't be embarrassed (or in trouble) if no one knows about your hobby.

Actually, you can. I remember feeling some sort of guilt/regret after seeing my first, but quickly came to see that the stereotypes associated with guys who 'pay for it' are just that.

Now, I pay for it like any other service or form of entertainment with no regret whatsoever (except financially). LOL

Not really embarrassed, but since I grew up in the U.S. in a conservative family, it took a while to get over it. Americans in general have a greater disdain for these activities than Canadians.

I'll joke about it with some friends occasionally, but wouldn't even contemplate discussing it with relatives.

At my age ( I'm not old but past college years ) I have a select group of people I would call friends.

Plenty of acquaintances, but they're not friends.


All but one of my friends has seen at least an MP. Indeed one of my close friends and I went together with another guy to a MP once.


I find most people in Canada are very lax about the whole sensuality business. However I do not discuss these matters at my jobs or with most of my acquaintances. If I was ever asked straight up, I would say I did it a few times in college, so, half lie.

It's not so much about being embarrassed, it's just one of those things that you don't discuss openly in public.


I mean, most of us have tried some kinky masturbation techniques right? But would we ever freely discuss it in public? And when would it ever come up?


As far as how I feel personally about it. I look at it as any other service.

When I went for breakfast this morning I asked the waitress if other customers talked about sex with escorts and she said it never happened. Then I asked if it bothered her if I had sex with escorts and she said she was too busy to talk and only wanted to know what I wanted to eat.
I thanked her for her candor, then ordered the 3 egg special, sunnyside up with bacon and rye bread toast and coffee.

Next time go back and ask her how many customers talked about sex with non escorts with her and ask how appropriate she would consider that sort of conversation.

No embarrassment but still discrete, my co-workers don't need to know. What happens between two consenting adults is fine by me. For the girls it is a business, I enjoy myself and treat this like any one of my other hobbies. There will always be those who judge you by what you do, whether its a hobby or a career, what type of car you drive or what you wear.
