If you own a motorbike, or used to, tell your fellow terbites about it and post a picture. I currently own the Suzuki S83 below. As best I can figure I have owned 15 bikes since I was a teenager. Some of the notables were a Harley Fatboy, Virago 1100 (good looking but slow) and a Suzuki Hyabusa. The latter was death defyingly fast but agony to ride for more than a few hours. Reputed top speed was 300k. The older bike below is my first. A BSA C11 250. I thought it was hot shit back in the day and I still remeber just about every nut and bolt on it.

Rode for 5 years, both on road and off road, got hurt a few times but nothing really bad...I moved to a different area were people drive more like shit cause they are too educated and didn't learn how to drive until after college and grad school....it was fun while it lasted, now I stick with old hot rod cars for safety

Triumph 650 when I was young and foolish. Great for picking up girls. One time I saw two girls hitchhiking, I stopped and said I could only take one.

My first bike was a Kawi 175 enduro. I bought it when I was 15 and hid it from my parents at a friends house. Since then I have owned:

Kawisaki 350 triple, fun in downtown TO in the late '70's
79 Yamaha SR500 single. I still own it.
BMW R70/7 loved it at 70 mph. Had three birds hit me in one day riding it.
82 Kawasaki 1000 I rode this bike as fast as it would go ( a lot) 243 kph.

These days I have a two seater open top car for fun. I am hanging on to the SR.

Didn't have a bike back then, a buddy did, so I had a chance to ride a hopped TR 650, scary then, when it got on the cam.

I only had hot cars,...but fondly remember "girls hitchhiking",...those were the days !!!

My 1st bike was back in 1988 Kawasaki ZX6 Ninja, rode it for 4 years until it was stolen. Then in 1998 I bought a 98 Suzuki GSXR750 which I rode for 5 years until I sold it..

I was very, very close to buying a 2012 Honda CB1000RA this spring but changed my mind.

Once upon a time I lived in India for a two years and had an Enfield named Raj. Stupid bike broke down almost every other day! I still have zero to no motorcycle maintenance skills. Barter anyone?

First, thank you Celticman for teaching me how to do this. I appreciate the instruction without ridicule or grief.

This is my bike, a 2004 Victory V92TC; the only true American made motorcycle. Not fast but it runs like a locomotive.
Rufus, glad the info on how to post images worked. Fred Zed helped me via email, and I added a little to the text to add some extra clarity. ANY bike by Victory is one hell of a machine. Nice ride.

First bike, Yamaha rd 350, 13 bikes later, after triumphs, ducatis, Kawasaki, it all ended with the rare Suzuki XN 85 turbo. A great 16 tears of riding, selling and teaching. Now it's boats and a jet ski
