I was thinking the same thing which is why I didn't post a pic of my current one. lol
True story. Although judging from your tagline I've yet to become as well-traveled as you are.

ahh i think i finally get how to post a pic...thanks for the instructions...anyways...here is my bike. colour is "cool blue" It's a very cool bike...then again, i am a very cool guy lol...but...it's true dudes!!!
My first street bike was a 1976 Suzuki GT500. One of the last of the two-strokers. Got a ticket for going 180 in an 80kph zone. They weren't as anal about speeding back them - got off with a $150 fine (a week's wages). Eventually bounced it off the front fender of a semi on the 401. Luckily back then there was still a grass median (near Liberty Street in Bowmanville) so I lived through it. The bike was still rideable too, although it was a few months before I rode it again.

Thats me too. I have a Customized 2000 Harley Sportster and a 97 ElectraGlide Ultra Classic and no time to ride either :-(

let me know if you ever plan to sell the Nighthawk..very interested in one of these as a second bike... one of the best bikes ever made.. been looking all summer for the right one...yet to be foundLet's see if I can get this picture posting thing..

Sold it years ago and regretted it ever since. It was a lot of fun to ride and the shaft drive made it incredibly smooth for it's time.

In 1956 Enfield of India started assembling Bullet motorcycles under license from UK components, and by 1962 was manufacturing complete bikes. Enfield of India bought the rights to use the Royal Enfield name in 1995. Royal Enfield production, based in Chennai, continues and Royal Enfield is now the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time.
In my teens in the UK, one of the bikes that I owned was a Royal Enfield and I had it hooked up to a Watsonian sidecar just like this. Sidecars require a very different skillset to regular bikes and can be a load of fun. Especially when the sidecar comes up in the air cornering
If this is the model that I am thinking of, it is one of the legendary bikes that ever came along.
