Are we back to lineups in front of grocery stores?

Obviously, you cannot read. Re-read my post, please. Notice it says once the ICUs fill up, not that the ICU is filled up. Also, note hospitalizations lag cases. I'm hoping Omicron proves to be a light Covid version but that is yet to be proven.
The data from Denmark says that Omicron is less likely to lead to Delta level outcomes by more than 60%. The Omicron has peaked already in South Africa after about a month. Not the greatest news, but certainly not bad news, either.

You don't seem to be taking into account that people are still being vaccinated.

Toronto itself has tripled its' capacity and can now administer 1 million vaccines/day.
I have to figure that anyone over 18 who isn't vaccinated won't be getting vaccinated unless the authoratahs really start putting the screws to them [as they should]
At a million a day seems kinda high, everyone could get their boosters or first or second shot in 3 days. I thought it was something like a few hundred thousand a day for all of Ontario... but I could be wrong.

Actually, the TOTAL ICU number is 152(those with verified Covid). 104 is the number of verified covid infections on the ventilators. And the numbers have been pretty steady.
I meant the totals don't include ICU patients who don't have Covid. There are plenty of other people who need the beds too.

Not that they are doing a million a day, but John Tory said yesterday that they now have the capacity to do a million.

If we listen to the authoritahs, they are now considering a third or booster dose as part of being vaxxed. I think the amazing proliferation of omicron has a lot of people spooked, present company included. I had a date with a 20 y.o. SB for later today but cancelled when she admitted that she wasn't vaxxed. I think there will be more people willing to get vaxxed.

Yeah. We need long term.beds, we need to stop the practice of hallway medicine, provide greater access to family doctors and preventive care and reduce rationing and wait times. Like the shortages in the ICU, all problems that were talked about when I first came to this country decades ago.
