I actually learned a little more about the Middle East, and how complicated it was watching him and Griphin go at it
I'm always interested in learning about someone new. I value others opinions, even if I don't agree with them. I refuse to get into a pissing contest with anyone. My time is valuable, even if I'm doing nothing..
At this point, I'm just keeping my membership going to see how dumb, petty and downright disgusting this board's members can be.
Seriously, this board's members can be really fucking stupid sometimes. What makes it even more funny is a lot of the time, it's members you'd think would know better. I think that TERB's senior members are its dumbest.

I have a long history with hobbying. When I started you did the circle by The Gardens or you called a number in the back of Now magazine. I am retired now, but still like to visit Terb. For me it is like a sober guy who still likes to hang out at the bar.
Yeah pretty sure the statistic for most forums is about 1% - 2% contributors. I’ve only been a member since monday and when I meet an escort, I will contribute a review.
But the last thing anyone needs is to feel the pressure to review. I think its more about having a place to talk about your hobby, something that is impossible anywhere else.

"Are some TERB members just here for something to do?" It seems so. To some folks, posting here is a full time job, from early morning till late at night. They must have made their money already.
I’m here mostly for the conversation. I only hobby rarely, much less since pandemic, and have pretty much decided to stick to a couple regulars when I do, so I’m not contributing a whole lot of original reviews when I post, though have posted numerous reviews in the past.
I enjoy the discussions on a variety of topics, and the camaraderie shared with a group of diverse people who share a common interest.

BTW: I was only kidding about the lefty thing. Thought it was obvious. However, one should not feed wildlife like pigeons, bears, foxes, raccoons, coyotes, etc.

All well and good to say members here should primarily be here to contribute reviews, or comment on a review thread.
BUT.....often times writing a review or posting a comment in a review thread amounts to nothing more than a public invitation for other members to kick you in the balls repeatedly while they try to insult, embarrass, humiliate and cancel you on the board (in that order).
Long timers here know that posting reviews is largely an exercise in futility. In a previous life here, I posted a shit-ton of honest current reviews to no good end. Now I know better and prefer to engage in other (somewhat) less painful discussions in other forums.
Besides, as a very long time and regular hobbyist, I probably know more about the industry and the current providers than most active reviewers here anyway, so the review forums hold little value for me personally.

Reviews are overrated. Best times I had was with girls with little to no reviews. I went in with 0 expectations. Some reviews, warning of provider's issues and red flags, get deleted anyways for violating forum rules. Reviews were crowd splits into 2 camps leave you even more confused.
Also, there is also an aspect of credibility. If a reviewer is fairly new, his credibility is often questioned, accusations of being a shill etc. There's very little insentive to keep posting reviews.
Those with many reviews often lose their credibility for being overly negative or positive, especially if you rely on one's review and have an experience that's a complete 180 of what was expected.
It's not like we get points for writing a review anyways. Who gives a shit about who posts reviews and who doesn't? Somehow TERB is still around, even though it changed in the last few years.
