Semi retired unless an Sp peaks my interest. The thrill of the hobby has lessen over time and even more over the pandemic for me. Same old routine after awhile. Posting of especially negative sp reviews are sometimes met with arguments, so why even waste my time.

I don't understand how anyone can put themselves in some of the situations I've read about on here. I think there might be something to what one lady I used to see said once, a lot of these guys are thrill-seekers who like the element of risk involved in responding to questionable LeoList ads.

I can think of ways to get my kicks that don't involve possibly getting robbed or worse but to each their own. Let those Darwin award nominees have their fun.

The OP is questioning "...an over representation..." of a certain type of TERB patron. I am pretty sure that there is no quota system by class or category of patron - we all have our own reasons for being here and obviously enjoy being here or we wouldn't bother. That's it. That's all.

All well and good to say members here should primarily be here to contribute reviews, or comment on a review thread.

BUT.....often times writing a review or posting a comment in a review thread amounts to nothing more than a public invitation for other members to kick you in the balls repeatedly while they try to insult, embarrass, humiliate and cancel you on the board (in that order).

Long timers here know that posting reviews is largely an exercise in futility. In a previous life here, I posted a shit-ton of honest current reviews to no good end. Now I know better and prefer to engage in other (somewhat) less painful discussions in other forums.

Besides, as a very long time and regular hobbyist, I probably know more about the industry and the current providers than most active reviewers here anyway, so the review forums hold little value for me personally.

It's a sad state of affairs when you get criticized for trying to be helpful.

Exactly. I remember way back when, posting a review on a massage place. I didn’t have such a great time, but the amount of people who took it as a personal attack was overwhelming. I did not say anything degrading or mean, nonetheless, the retaliation was swift and prompt.

I'm pretty active, but I review maybe 10-20% of the girls I see - mostly if there don't seem to be any reviews or any recent reviews.

And like some other guys, I'm a total asshole for a few months if I find an unexpected gem, which happens only a few times a year if that. No point in making the girl so busy I can't see her!

Also very little point in posting VERY negative reviews - the agency and other members will mostly just shit on you.

So all in all - yeah, way less reviews than posts.
