This is going to drive the Israel Firster's crazy.

"Check it out. If you have an iPhone go to wx app and type in East Jerusalem, Nablus etc. See what it says. When did this start? Anyone?

The native weather app on the iPhone now lists major Palestinian cities in the WB as Palestine, no longer as WB. Even E. Jerusalem! Bravo!

The flip side, type Jerusalem and it says Israel. Before it didn't list a country. It was just *Jerusalem*.

Which Israeli representative is yelling at [Apple ceo] Tim Cook right now?

Of good they have recognized that Jerusalem is Israeli, and they support a two state solution. Good stuff.

Glad to see you on side with the two state solution Gryfin. Thanks to Apple we are now all clear that the people of the West Bank are not Israeli and that the territory is not part of Israel.

Wonderful!

Now we just have to convince the zionists of that. It looks like they are intent on creating a one-state solution. No one has ever accused zionists of being smart, just racist.

And thanks to you, because by acknowledging the West Bank is not Israeli, then you must support the removal of all the settlements and the retention of the East Jerusalem by Palestinians.

I support the resolution of the settlement issue by negotiating , land swaps to create a sensible border.

I look forward to reminding you in the future that we agree the West Bank is not part of Israel.

Why do the settlements need to be negotiated? You've just confirmed the West Bank is not part of Israel therefore the settlements are illegal. As International Law has always stated. Wouldn't it be wonderful if as many settlers there are, then at least an equal amount of Palestinians should be allowed to return to their homes in Israel?

But that would never happen. Zionists are not big on equality.

But, you support equality, don't you?

I think if they were left as part of Palestine the inhabitants would be persecuted by the Palestinians. They have not exactly got a good track record of treating Jews well.

It is funny that the idea of the settlements becoming Palestinian territory without the inhabitants leaving never occurs to you.

You need to give you head a shake. It's the Israeli Jews who ethnically cleansed the indigenous Palestinian population. It's Israeli Jews who have occupied the land they escaped to for 40 years. It's Israeli Jews who steal their land to this day. It's the Israeli Army that brutalizes them. It's Israel that makes their lives unbearable.

But, I'm not sure why you even pose the question as why they would be left. Why wouldn't you support them just leaving, since, as you confirmed it's not their land and they are there illegally.

So, my question again. What's there to negotiate when they should not be there in the first place? You know the right thing to do. Leave. And then pay reparations for the generations of suffering they have caused.

Why shouldn't they just stay and become part of the Palestinian state?

Oh yeah because the Arabs really actually do ethnically cleanse Jews and would do it again if the security protections were removed.

I note that multiple times in this thread you have proposed ethnic cleansing. The concept of ethnic cleansing of Jews out of Arab territory is so automatic to you, that you wrote: "But, I'm not sure why you even pose the question as why they would be left."

On the contrary, your response sounds desperate.
Can't think of anything original to support your supposed claim, so you pull your myna bird act, good to see. This apple claim is nothing really to trumpet there are all sort of map designations that mean little and this is just another one.

Would you support the return of an equal amount of Palestinian refugees into their ancestral Israel homes?
Or is this some kind of racist position?

Sorry but why would leaving people where they live today justify population transfers?

And are you attempting to negotiate ethnic cleansing of Jews from their present homes?

Why is ethnic cleansing and population transfer your default answer?

Why should illegal squatters be given more rights then refugees?

What refugees? Palestinians who were born in Syria are not refugees, except maybe from Syria these days.

And again, why is ethnic cleansing of Jews so acceptable to you?

Shouldn't the question be what arrangement maximizes everyone's security?

The first question should be whether the Palestinian state can guarantee their safety and security, given that they are on Palestinian land .

It is appalling that your first thought was to ethnically cleanse them.

This is the same infamous maping program that caused hostility in China.

What an example to use.

...
Yes, a Jewish community that had been living in Hebron since antiquity (except between being ethnically cleansed in the 1930's and '67) should have no place living in an Arab controlled Hebron. ;)

On a more serious note, most Israelis accept that despite the Jewish connection to Hebron that a peace settlement will require a Palestinian state free of Jews (even anti-Israeli activist Jews).

If Palestinians decide to swap Palestinian populated areas to Israel, sure (but I severely doubt that would happen).
