Um yeah apple is going down lol They only sold nine million devices in the first three day of the release and 200 million devices upgraded to iOS 7 Um yeah really sounds like there in trouble The people that make statements like apple is going down are generally the ones that can not afford there products Can't wait to upgrade my iPhone 5 to the iPhone 5s in the next few weeks

And sigh.. the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C was another flop... :(
No, don't despair - there will be a surge of Apple fanbots who with out reading a review or are incapable of reading a specification, will line up to buy the first units. They won't represent first users or the technically sophisticated that look at what they are about to buy but they will give an illusion of instant success that hopefully won't peter out quickly like the sales did a year prior.

Then again - if you really believe - get a hoard of stock - more on margin because you have the investors fooled and are about to make a fortune.

The fanboys are busy waiting in line to buy a $800 phone. So there's no money left to invest. Besides, investing is such a "boring" thing that hipsters don't do.

Never paid more than $200 for a phone, nor waited in line, too smart I guess.
Also depends on what phone you got for $200. There are no popular smartphones for $200 all-in (without a contract) these days, unless you're fine with some off brand like Huawei, Oppo, etc. or a lower powered Samsung (Ace IIx, Rugby, etc.)

Only exception to that would be the Google Nexus 4, which is $250 all in. On the other hand, good luck finding one since Google is sold out.

That being said, all the carriers now have 2 year contracts, so this is almost a moot point since you can replace the phone every 2 years (I think) without an expensive termination or tab to pay off.

Waiting in line is so bizarre to me. How hard is it to wait until there is lots of inventory? How empty are people's lives that they need to be the first in line to pick up the latest gadget, game, etc.? Life isn't any better if you're first or one of the first to get something.

Since i've been on contracts almost since day one, and never had one blow up in my face to date, it's no big thing and I do get the middle of the road model as it's all I need. There are very few things i need the latest a greatest, contrary to what some waffleheads think about Mac folk. With the new two year contracts, I wonder if the discounts will be the same. You can also expect the data rates and other nickel and dime charges will increase.
