It might be.
Given they promised to weaponize the DOJ and go after Tish James and so on, I will assume they are keeping their promise until we see some details.
www.usaspending.gov
That's the website he's been using.
It's about transparency in government spending.
Obama set it up about a decade ago.
But DOGE hasn't been doing that. Not the "finding out part" - they
have been doing the "gutting" part by way of their illegal withdrawal of funds and the layoffs and "buyouts".
They've been going in and fucking with the computers and taking over the payment systems.
That seems to be their real purpose - taking control via the software.
Laying in the infrastructure for later.
After all, they could do almost all of the policy re-ordering legally - they just don't want to since the whole point is to solidify their power grab.
I'm sure there
is mispending and so on.
Trump fired the Inspector Generals who found billions of dollars of it after all.
But what DOGE has released so far has just been "spending Elon Musk doesn't like".
He's talked a lot of shit about "corruption" but hasn't shown any yet.
He will find some, I hope.
Most administrations
have been able to make headway in that.
It would be a shame if Musk is so busy pursuing his own agenda he can't even manage some basic competence.
The courts don't seem to think it is legal.
But with Congress giving up its power and a lot of the judiciary maybe not up for the fight, Musk will be able to
make his illegal actions legal just through power.
Might makes right and all that.
