While in traffic, just start backing up quickly for no reason, the first car your hit will be the PI.

Look for any discreetly placed voice activated recorder. Use google images to see what they look like. Also check home computer as well as ur phone for keystroke tracking software. Lay low for a couple months.

1) get new identical phone or scan software to check your phone.
2) Go to parking lot with multiple level check over your car for GPS tracking device.
3) Install a camera on neughbour house with motion sensor to see who is comming or going near your place.Explain to neighbour that you want front view of your house gor security. PIs will not go near your place if they see camera.
4) Buy camera for front and back of your vehicle to see a patern of cars driving behind you.
5) Walk into hotel and leave car were camera records.Go to bathroom for 10 to 15 minutes. Walk out and go to cash machine. Take money out and make sure you can be seen counting.
6) Go back to same hotel go up the elevator walk down hall and back to bathroom hide for 40 minutes walk out.
7) By now you should know who they are. Drive in places that have cresents and courts it will make it easier to see when they follow you, but never let on that you know.
When you see them call police and tell them you are being criminally harrased by the persons following you and you fear fir your life.
8) Laugh your head off when the police arrest them and give you a report of what happen.
9) have to fix things with wife.

If you think someone is following you in your car :

Fast / slow maneuver - Speed up 3-4 kph by pressing on the accelerator, after about a minute return to normal speed and coast with the cruise control on steady. A minute after that slow down 3-4 kph by easing off the accelerator and not touching the brakes. ( so that they do not see your brake lights go on ) Continuously doing this will make the person following have to adjust his speed accordingly and cause him to show himself. It also makes the person in the car behind very tired.

Lane change maneuver - When moving on to a highway or a city expressway, move to the first lane then the middle lane quickly and then to the left lane. Then return the the middle lane and then to the first lane and exit at the next off ramp. Try to do this with the whole length from on ramp to exit ramp. The following car will reveal himself.

Quick get away maneuver - When in the city, drive at normal speed for a few kms. Then pass an intersection and go half a block at normal speed. When you are at half way to next corner speed up and go around the corner quickly and stop. The car following will either speed up to follow or slow and take his time reaching the corner. Either way, the follower will reveal himself.
( pick an corner to go around with a stop sign on a less busy street, not one with a signal light and a busy
intersection )

To get the advantage, always let them know that you know they are there.

I caught two guys on different occassions.

Same car parked right next to where I live, saw him there for a few days. I approached the vehicle, told him that he would have to be careful in that parking is enforced in the area and vehicles without proper tags would get ticketed and he told me what he was doing.

Another time while walking my dog, saw a guy in a vehicle, very suspcious, again, approached his him and he disclosed what he was doing and I told him it was too obvious.
Tinted winows (both) lol, but just be aware of your surroundings, whether driving or walking. I like to be aware of what's going on around me at all times, so I'm pretty keen on things, most of the time.
I'm not sure if the raised awareness was learned from playing basketball or from Young Drivers of Canada, where they teach you to always keep your eyes moving and to be very aware of what's happening. lol
Or maybe it's just the natural curiosity of knowing what's going on?

Waiting for someone from the peanut gallery to blow up any second now-carrying a lot of hate and anger. ;)

Boy a lot of you are really good at 'shaking a tail'. However if I was tracking your movements at the request of your wife - I would be a lot more lazy than following your ass all over town

I'm not a PI, but if I had the job to do:

#1 - Ask the wife to provide me with your smart phone so that I could put any number of monitoring software in it. Then you can dodge and weave but I'm home tracking your location, monitoring your phone calls, texts, etc.
or
#2 - Place a simple GPS tracker in your car. Speed up, turn left 8 times, double back .... doesn't matter. I know exactly where you are. I can leisurely drive straight to your car and monitor your activities.
eg:


If I have the co-operation of your wife - it makes it much easier to track you without following you.

Not a PI - just looking at the approach I would use.

Another thing a PI will do is when you put your garbage bag to the curb, they will take your garbage and sometimes even replace it with another bag filled with lose newspaper.
Watch what you put in your garbage.

One other thing is if you have wireless Internet she could of gave the password to PI so they can monitor your email.
