Ok.. what are some of your "regrets" in relationship with a SO?

Never have any regrets.. but you know what i mean...any mistakes/bad judgements made in the relationship that you would if you could erase...

Not having the self confidence to take a stand when the time demanded it. Relationships can be ruined if one or both partners fail to call bullshit on each other and allow destructive elements to fester.

No regrets at all... now. But there were some times that I felt regret... like when I got caught fucking around. Or having to explain why I got a lap dance on the occasion that I go to a strip club. But that negative (getting caught) turned into a positive.

Since the explosion (caused by getting caught), it led to counseling, which led to discussions, which led to the open relationship, it became great. For example, I can be on this site and the SO knows about it and has even read some of the things I've posted.

It feels great to be able to do that.

I have to say that my marriage has been a real learning experience and I'm better for it.

Long distance relationship (Azores island) Portugal.

We only communicate by email now.

I have done the distance relationship as well, albeit not as far. It is a very, very difficult thing to do.

I regret not being more open to the whole idea of marriage when I got into it. Everything worked out way for the best, but I never believed it would in the beginning. As a result, we went through a few years of treating each other as "persons of interest" if not outright suspects.

If I knew then what I know now, we could have just relaxed and enjoyed being married right from the start.
