Tricky one. I was considering giving one of my two a bottle of White Linen perfume. Well she handed me an empty bottle and told me she would like another one. The price stopped me in my tracks. However. All things considered, she is a generous and dependable provider so I may splurge.
The other one is trickier. Great person. Just kind of slipped into the friend zone for me. So I dumped her. I wanted to wish her seasons greetings, because we really got along as friends. Just that I feel guilty for dumping her.

The concept makes sense as long as the lady's response is reasonable. I often find some of the wants/needs expressed by some ladies as part of their 'birthday month' or 'holiday month' wish lists ridiculously excessive. The affordability question is not a concern for me personally (although it can be for others), it's more the nature of the expectation itself in many ways just feels disrespectful and selfish. It can make for a very uncomfortable situation going forward, and in fact may even ruin the relationship you already have as client/provider.

I have in the past been asked for Mercedes G Wagon, Porsche Cayenne, Rolex watches, very high end designer apparel, Cartier jewelry, and gift certificates for luxury vacations. While it's not a question of affordability, it is a question of appropriateness. Keep in mind, the fee to see and spend time with these women is already top level hourly rates. I've never been able to figure out their reasoning as to why they should merit such gifts beyond the simple fact that I could afford to give them if I chose to do so.

Not for 50 bucks…can’t get their nails done for 50 bucks…50 bucks in this country is nothing. I can’t go to the local watering hole on Sunday to have a meal and a few pints while watching football for 50 bucks. A larger budget is required for a personal gift.
I dont think there is any blanket answer for this one, it really depends on the SP and your take on each other, I have had overwhelmingly appreciation for something as simple as a cup of coffee and not so much as a thank you for putting extended effort and monetary investment into a gift.
