If being far-right supports white supremacy, wouldnt far-left be just as racist??? BLM seems to pop into my head.

Being center cancels out everything and there is no need for a multi party system if center politics agreed with the 2 extremes.
That's amazing.
What is the colour of the sky in your world?

Just a point of order. Antifa doesn't exist as an organized group, as say, the Proud Boys, Three Percenters, Oath Keepers or the Texas Freedom Force. So, while people may support Antifa (I mean, who likes fascist, besides other fascist), there is no leadership, so any organized violence is fairly minimal.

I will also point out that right-wing members infiltrated BLM protests in Portland (and other places) to cause violence and mayhem in the name of Antifa. Not saying all the violence and rioting was done by right-wingers, but some was definitely started by them.
Did you read all that in The Guardian?

Well, we should all be held strictly to account for shit we did 26 years ago.
That's kind of the point. These "antifa" criminals were galvanized to action for something that went on then, but were sort of indifferent to anything happening today. Pretty lame....

Does that apply to those who had bone spurs?
Bone spurs suggests underlying character. But yes, it's possible that people change over time. I probably wouldn't like to be judged for shit I did when I was 20 years old. OTOH, shirking military service and relying on your wealth and influence cuts pretty deep to your core self.

Decisions on legislation involve how you are fed information, how you react to media and colleague pressure, whether you are able to discern what's genuine or not, your perception. Those are acquired skills, not core personality traits and are more subject to change over time.

So I think there's a difference.

The USA PATRIOT Act (that's not emphasis, it actually is an acronym: Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism - the name alone is a masterpiece in bureaucratic bullshit ) was post 911 panic and Dubya, so point your finger somewhere else....
In fact Biden was the top Senator on the Justice track and had been for a long time. He helped write and shape it and in his position would have approved every aspect of it and rallied the votes for it(as he is fond of saying he did in the Senate).

I can hang that Albatross around his neck as much as any member of the GOP.

Considering the suffering the crime bill caused and the Dog Whistle language he used on the Senate Floor to promote it(its on Youtube) he knew exactly what a piece of shit legislation it was. And that his own son was directed to rehab while he set up literally millions of minorities to get criminal records, killing their future and their voting rights says quite a bit more.

Sorry isn't enough.

More organized violence from the group that doesn't exist (according to Biden).
How about Chris Wray. You know the guy appointed by the now former only twice impeached POTUS in history.

WASHINGTON (AP) — FBI Director Chris Wray told lawmakers Thursday that Antifa is an ideology, not an organization, testimony that puts him at odds with President Donald Trump, who has said he would designate it a terror group.

Wray did not dispute that antifa activists were a serious concern, saying that antifa was a “real thing” and that the FBI had undertaken “any number of properly predicated investigations into what we would describe as violent extremism,” including into individuals who identify with antifa.”

But, he said, “It’s not a group or an organization. It’s a movement or an ideology.”

I just wish this ideology would stop burning down buildings and breaking windows. I also hope this ideology stops being a douche bag.

The ANTIFA freaked out after seeing Joe's agenda that contains nothing that benefits the American people in general and the working class in particular. As good of a theory as any other, I guess.

The election of Joe Biden is not going to put the issues to sleep. Until police reform is a fact, the 94 crime bill is repealed and mass incarceration ends the protests will continue.

a handful of lunatic fringe communist anarchists outnumbered by violent Trumptard rednecks about 1000 to 1.
What comparison are you making?

If you are comparing the number of people who actually engaged in violence. looting or vandalism in Portland vs. the number who did the same at the Capitol I think the numbers might be about even.

However, if you are comparing the number of legitimate protesters at the Capitol who did none of these things, to the number of legitimate protesters accompanying anarchist rioters in Seattle and Portland, you might be right in your suggested ratio of 1000 to 1 in favour of the Trump supporters.

Is cancelling Keystone a right wing move?

We are so fortunate on this board to have someone who is so in touch with antifa and their views.
