For both that reason, and in order to give closure for her family through Jiarui Tang taking police to her body, the sentence was arrived at.

He could very easily have helped police, but instead his hindering their process definitely gave Tang a chance to get off easier

Its funny how most minority groups won't talk to police for fear of the community yet cry they get unequal treatment

That's the media, not the police. My guess is, the police put just as much effort into the investigation as if a white women went missing. I mean, I have to think the process is a pretty standard protocal so I'm not sure how LE could take any short cuts.

If that guy who bought the drug patent and then multiplied the price by 100 got murdered we'd all be saying he earned the karma, but if this lady tried to embezzle extra cash from a client on the threat of exposing his sex life ( and quite possibly destroying his life), I feel the same way about her karma.

We have only the killers good word for this. Not sure it makes sense that a 36 yo lady who owns her own home would be trying to extort money from a 22 yo guy that lives at home with his mother, or that a 22 yo guy would be paying $800 for an evening out with the lady. The guy is also going to court for other guns and gangs type charges. Thinking that the lady was working more than occasionally to be able to afford her own home and the guy was involved with her somehow, maybe he was the one demanding money.
