Then why was it a big deal when the show was on the other foot and Harpo criticized both Mulcair and Dion for having dual citizenship??

But does he have dual campaign planes? One for himself and one for his extensive wardrobe while lecturing the rest of us about causing too much CO2 in the atmosphere. Talk about a hypocrite.

“What we’re seeing here from the Conservatives is a classic and desperate attempt” to distract from the fact they have no plan for the environment, said Trudeau, adding that it’s a “far right” tactic.

So it's ok for the rich to spew out as much CO2 as they want as long as they pay some else. Buying "offsets" does nothing to reduce CO2 emissions.
Liberal party was purchasing those offsets. Show us where they took taxpayers money for it??
Why does the experts state that the carbon tax etc. are actually working to reduce CO2 emissions, that contradicts what "Broker" Baby Scheer alleged then??

I have a piece of property that is considered a wetlands (carbon sink). When Ontario under Wynne was considering joining California in the Cap and Trade market, I researched to see if I could get a carbon credit and sell it as an offset. I could but it was not a significant amount and more trouble than it was worth. But today my property is still taking in as much carbon as it would if it was being sold as an offset. Only difference is someone hypocrite like Trudeau doesn't get to pretend that he is not contributing to global CO2 levels by buying an "offset" from me. The more carbon he produces the more goes into the atmosphere no matter how many "offsets" he or the Liberal party buys.

Michaelle Jean’s French citizenship in an August 2005 blog post, in which he said he has a “few quick questions” about her appointment: “Does it bother you that she is a dual citizen (France and Canada)? Would it bother you if instead of French citizenship, she held U.S. citizenship?”
Jean renounced her French citizenship before taking office in September 2005.
Scheer defended the comments on Thursday, saying: “It was a question I asked my constituents.”
“I asked the question at the time about the fact that she held it and asked my constituents about what they felt about that,” he said.
In a statement, the Liberals said Scheer has been “fundamentally dishonest with Canadians about who he is.”
