Ok I'm thinking there is some kind of unwritten rule about posting threads about AI but I watched it tonight and the Rocker at the end is going to win this competition or else its a crime against humanity. The only one that has a chance is the country chick or the Hot Native American (for appearances only)

But this dude Bo Bice sang like a champ tonight doing a rendition of Allman Brothers song Whipping Post. Now I know that this board is filled with predominantly anti-pop personalities, as am I, and this guy is against everything the pop culture stands for...except being on Idol of Course. Anyway the performance sent chills up my neck. I recommend getting an MP3 of it the vocals were better than anything Greg Allman could ever hope for. (I hope Greg was the singer in the band)

Anyway sorry to intrude with the glop about this show but it was awesome

And Simon like him too!!

I think Bo was very impressive. But it's the votes that count. AI doesn't really attract the rocker type people. They may throughout the competition but I don't really see that type voting repeatly during the 2 hour voting time. But I do see the younger fans voting for their favs and possibly upsetting the deserved winner.

It's okay, spode, no one ever seens to post about AI here, but I watch it, and caught this Bo dude's performance tonight. He was really good, so you are right about that. I would love to see him win. I like the dreadlock guy too.

I think I know who you mean by the country chick, but who is the hot Native American? Not sure if I know which one she is.

Dont know if shes actually Native American but shes the hottest one there imho, kind of looks like a life like version of pocahontas, and the same one that Simon said he wanted to come back as her microphone in his next life

A pretty good week overall. I dont know if Bo repeated the same success he had last week, but he still did pretty darn good. Anthony Fedorov, The Black Schoolteacher and Mario were all pretty awesome though

What I remember Simon saying is that it was Bo's competition to lose, as it stands now. Still a pretty strong endorsement. Maybe Simon said it elsewhere, not on the broadcast.

According to at least one online betting site (odds listed below), Anwar and Mario have been established as the favorites to win AI 4, with Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice slightly lower.

If I heard him for the first time last night I would probably agree with you, however the previous two weeks he really performed great. It all depends on your choice of music. But last week when he did Whipping post by the Allmans he brought the house down.

I agree, last night was not Bo's best performance, but I have no doubt he will advance. I think Constantine and Travis will be on the chopping block tomorrow.

Constantine is terrible and Travis is kind of a joke. Neither of them have any business being there
