Ambition raided

I had a conversation with "someone" at WRPS who I know well in a very social setting and asked about that "Ambition thing back in the spring?" and the charges. I didn't come out and say "Yeah I was a regular at Ambition and miss Jess & Amy"...LOL... I kind of worked it into a conversation about policing and crime in the region since I had the chance and he said... "Nothing will be done about that shutdown... pure PR and total BS... we did that on a tip from the JHS"... I asked what the "JHS" was and he said "John Howard Society"... I let it go at that point... then later I had to look it up - never heard of John Howard Society before. The way he was talking it was fairly obvious the "raid" was a very politically PR motivated event.

True or not I have no idea but he had no reason to lie. I mean... at all.

So what does this mean. That no one will be charged/convicted and Ambition will reopen. And people lie all the time for no reason.

• My guess is that the fraud charges will likely stick if the courts want to pursue it. NAL but VERY unlikely any other charges will stick.
• You're kidding right? The owner and her husband have had to raise funds by any means possible for their ongoing legal defense and its unlikely they have cash OR EVEN THE DESIRE for a re-start Ambition. Not going to happen. She can't re-sell? transfer? the license/sell the business because the city will step in and correct their re-zoning 'mistake' and any new licenses for "holistic massages" can't be in industrial zones (apparently). No, it's not going to open. Hopefully she can sell the building for a good price but that's about it.

My bet is that this 'issue' will quietly disappear while the women working there (many with family responsibilities) have had their income disrupted and in some cases obliterated. The owners lives are destroyed since one crazy woman decided she was going to lie because she was cut loose as she had zero regulars.

Alternatively, my complete guess is one of the other legal Rub & Tub owners approached the JHS Society to make this formal complaint. It's was obvious Ambition was VERY VERY busy compared to the other local Spas. Yet other places have not seen a corresponding spike in business as far as I'm aware. Where did everyone go right? I assume clients have gone to Toronto or Escorts.
