Let me help you with proper use of the English language, Vlad.
It is "Vlad and I", not "me and Vlad"
It is "than", not "then".
Since like that Mike guy you also believe that I am also Vlad, perhaps it is you and he that are full of shit
Did I pass the grammar police screening?

Lost in a daydream of beautiful women.
I have enjoyed many sessions and the ladies at Ambition many times over the years and am grateful for the services they’ve provided, but the fact that the police have decided to act now, after 14 years of leaving them alone while knowing full-well what goes on there, suggests to me that charges aren’t baseless.

Think of who left last year that may have been there a long time. This could be someone who was coerced early in its existence, trained, groomed, worked there for years, then came to the realization of exploitation and sexual abuse over the years and as part of their treatment, decided to approach the police. As soon as claims of this kind are made, law enforcement has no choice other than to act. I’m not insinuating that this is certainly the case and it could certainly have originated from a disgruntled employee (there have been many) or a competitor as well. Just saying that if the police spent a year investigating, if there was nothing worth pursuing there, they would have given them a warning to keep things clean and moved on.

For one, I’m just grateful that I wasn’t there when the shakedown happened and am happy all the girls working were left alone and don’t face any charges.

Don’t be dumb and say Dumb things.

This is hyperbole. There is ONE accusation with makes it all the more likely it’s an angry ex-employee. 14 years and only one?

Exposure to sexual violence is from men who have no clue what consent is and then get angry when they hear no. Then Tanya backs the Attendant and then kicks the wacko out. Then likely bans them.

Know any angry bitter men GJ?

I read on the wrps site that they seized the car and the building unit. I have no experience in understanding this stuff but that makes me assume 'tanya' owned that building unit and it wasn't rented. If rented I would assume they could not seize it from the landlord

It will be interesting to see where this all lands once it goes to trial.

I also felt bad for that contractor truck that was caught on the photo from CTV. That parking spot was only for customers so he might have some explaining to do what he was doing there before work :)

Seized in this case means seize control, not ownership. So they would assume right to access and control the unit so they can take what they need, including any data that’s on devices.

Makes sense. When I read that part of the team that raided was the Provincial Asset Forfeiture Unit it sounded like to me that was part of this.

Huh, that explains why the door was locked...good thing I didn't book my 9am appointment. Based on the timing of the article and the Audi (which is still there), it looks like I missed the excitement by a few hours.

"Police say they believe there are similar operations running throughout the community. "...the fuck you say? Really? Try about 1,000 feet away.

“Without revealing our investigative techniques, the investigation expanded the longer we got into it." I can bet the whole WRPS department got into it.

My bet is Tatiana is the squealer. She's unhinged.
Who’s Tatiana?

Oomph, not great. Curious to know where this will go - Ambition was probably the most high profile 'not licenced' place in the region. Wonder if that is the police's angle here
Probably refused to bribe some cops who booked appointments there.

I honestly don't believe for one minute that there was ANY human trafficking at Ambition. NONE.
The Asian places definitely cross the line on that, but Ambition? Some discrete services for sex probably occur there by some girls, but trafficked by the owners? I don't believe it.
Human trafficking is just the new branding for prostitution.
Prostitution has lost a lot of its stigma since the internet ended ladies hooking on street corners. It being out of sight (& not a nuisance), less people care what people do in private. So now they call it human trafficking for the click bait. Canada govt just mimics the USA.

Few yrs ago the super Bowl was in Florida, I remember reading a news story about the local police busting a human trafficking ring. It was just a half dozen guys who tried to hire an undercover that they arrested, human trafficking 🙄

After 14yrs,

A) Disgruntled former employee/client
B) They didn’t pay a bribe
C) Police make work project to look like they are working or to avoid a budget cut

my money is on C.
