my god you are stunned

Carney gave the greenlight to a bi-election right away as he did not want to play your silly assed political games
He understands an opposition party is essential and the oppositions leader is essential for any functioning democracy
Nah, he knows that Pee Pee hit is peak and the more Canadians knew about him the less they liked them.
He's the perfect leader of the cons, another easy electoral win in 4 years.

How many times have the cons lost in a row now?

But you can always hope that his brand new platform will sell better this time.

There you go again, creating delusional scenarios to appease your frustrations that people are not as ignorant as you need them to be.

hey look
i tried to warn you that your point was irrelevant and you should just leave it at that, but you insisted on making it personal
so you get an ass kicking

PeePee doesn't get the fact that he's the reason the Conservatives aren't forming the next government. The fact that he lost his 20 year seat should be a clue to him. I don't like the sleazy way he intends to get a seat in parliament. He will win his safe Alberta seat in a byelection that will cost taxpayers $109M. With PeePee as leader of the Cons, it will mean that Mark Carney will get his majority in the next federal election.

It goes deeper. Pee is the same as Scheer and both are similar to Moe and Danielle. It's Albskatchewan right wing Tories essentially now running the CPC and completely out of touch with how Eastern Canada perceives the issues.

No ... it's not the same advisory group at all. They are all being fired.

Carney needed people to tell him how to talk to voters in Canada and now that the election is done, the Poli sci wannabes are not driving the bus because Carney actually understands the world.

Whether he succeeds or not ... who knows ... but the three word simpletons on the other side lost the most winnable election in history and will pay the price.
Try and keep up...Carney was the advisor to the previous Liberal party. Is he going to fire himself?

Carney's resume means nothing when dealing with the US. It has only served to convince desperate Liberals that he will "stand up to Trump" without a mention of how he will actually do that?

Judging by today's Whitehouse meeting, Carney wasn't able to get a word in. Yeah, that's promising.

btw GM in Oshawa laying off 700 workers. The film industry is also going to leave. Yup...real good "standing up" so far.

I will however give the Liberal campaign managers credit for running a fantastic fear-mongering marketing ploy to get elected. No one creates mystical fantasy like the Liberal campaign managers and it seemed to work on their flock.

Oh spare me.

You probably think Harper was anything other than a fuck up for inheriting a real surplus and squandering it with tax cuts before wiping down debt and crushing the size of the federal civil service.

You also probably thought Trump was a great guy and a man of the people before he single-handedly drove the US economy into recession.

Carney has inherited a mess caused by Trudeau's lack of respect for government finances and Trumps lack of respect for reality.

And one final time, those in charge get advice from literally everyone - union leaders, human rights activists, bankers, pollsters etc.

What they DO is on them, not their advisors. Gerald Butts is an idiot, Mark Carney is not. Both advised Trudeau and he did what he wanted.

Thats why Pierre Poilievre hiring a stupid high school dropout like Jenni Byrne is on him, not her. She helped Harper out the door unintentionally so I guess she deserves the Order of Canada, but Pierre doubled down on stupid and got waxed when he started with almost every seat.

Trudeau fucking government finances is on him ... and the idiot predecessor Harper who claimed to care about these things and just blew it.

You can pretend your "own the Libs" blogger bullshit works in real life, but like Poilievre, at some point you'll learn leaders make calls, not advisors, and failure is theirs while success is credited to the team.

Btw, just to be clear, are you pro-Trump?
I mean, pretend you are American for five seconds ...

Can you honestly say you expected the US in recession after Dear Leader fucked his own country with a lack of attention to the details in making big changes real?

Was there a country that handled the 2007 global financial crisis better than Canada?

ps Butts, Carney and Carney's wife all work together. They are the "brains" behind the Liberal party and have been for quite some time. Trudeau would have been nothing without them. You don't give enough credit to his advisors. You seriously think Trudeau ever paid a bill in his life and then suddenly understood world economics to be able to pick options he was presented? Lol! That's funny!

Trump is doing what he believes is best for his country. That's the promise he made during his campaign. Change sometimes requires things to get worse before they get better otherwise the status quo results in nothing. Not sure why you are surprised?
I'm pro anyone who tries to do the best for their country. It's been far too long in Canada.

I actually think it's funny and mostly sad that only after Trump made remarks about the 51st state and imposed tariffs that Canadians decided to become patriotic and invest in their own country. Not enough people are asking why they waited for someone else to inspire them to do that?

Why did they need to wait for a Canadian actor who prospers and continues to live in the US, far away from the past decade of ruin, to prop up a politician for an election? That's the type of nonsense and hypocrisy that has Canada in the position it's in.

Trump believes he is doing what is right... no question.

He simply lacks the intellectual stamina to sweat the details properly. And he is way out of touch with what really made America great for the last 100 odd years.

He actually believes the bullshit most serious thinkers roll their eyes at after solemnly proclaiming it to the public.

So what he has done, unnecessarily, is alienate almost everyone who could help him, instead of doubling down on the mythology of those who can't.
