There is much to loathe O JGD.

Mark Carney has already been in talks with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba . President Macron and Prime Minister Lula de Silva of Brazil are expected in Ottawa.

Humanity must pick it's slow lethal poison: climate change or micro plastics.

America is full of shit.

Carney should appoint Andrew Scheer Ambassador to India.

As I said. There are a boatload of protectists there too.

Trump is not all powerful. And soon will be quite impotent

Trump is a prick, no question
But he does not need to get elected and he still has unwavering support from the Maga crowd

Are you willing to bet 500,000 to a million jobs, Ontario's solvency and universal health care that Trump will become quite impotent ?

The moron Trudeau and the democrats wrote Trump off in 2020
How did that work out for them ?

The best move for Canada is to take us away from the USA as much as humanly possible and more towards Europe. He seems to be moving in that direction.

There's more than 190 countries om Earth and "lucky" Canada gets stuck with that giant shit-pile known as the USA as neighbours.
you are dreaming
try pricing out machine tools from England or chemicals from Germany

try selling millions of tons of steel or aluminum or canola or potash delivered to SE Asia while still maintaining a profit ?
Good luck
We should already be sell massive quantiles of Oil and LNG, to non US customers but alas we elected an ecowarrior moron in 2015
and now we have a new ecowarrior PM

We have had decades to develop diversified trade and we have not
Jean Chrétien and Stephen Harper laid the ground work, but their efforts have largely been wasted

While it's difficult to pinpoint an exact number of trade deals signed under Stephen Harper's premiership, he oversaw a significant period of trade policy development. He served as Prime Minister from 2006 to 2015. During his time in office, Canada negotiated and signed numerous trade agreements, including the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which built upon the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Other notable agreements included the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). It's important to note that the term "trade deal" can encompass various types of agreements, including bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, so the precise count can vary depending on how they are categorized.

the simple fact of the matter is culture, pricing and logistics make replacing $400 billion dollars in trade next to impossible
We need a deal with the US , in spite of your irrational emotional biases

If you have a lot in common "culturally" with the Yanks, you're definitely part of the problem.

business requires a serious approach , not a regurgitation of false man made climate propaganda

let me be absolutely clear
absorption of electromagnetic radiation is a physical process and it is logarithmic with respect to concentration >> saturated billions of years ago
physical processes are weak energy, no chemical bonds are broken or formed
there is no way in hell 400 parts per million can heat up the land, oceans and atmosphere as portrayed by alarmists

400 ppm of anything couldn't possibly effect its ability to absorb or reflect energy from sunlight according to Mr Science

the oil and gas sector can manage price volatility, it is inherent to the commodity based business
they can not withstand the Trudeau family / liberal party / Carney policies
Haha yeah they have shown how adept they are at managing every boom, bust in the past. 🙄🤣

Are you saying the USA pays MORE For potash while they pay less for our oil lol. Potash is a valuable commodity. You can but it or produce much less food. Its that simple. We can put an export tax on potash, make the USA produce less food . I would favor export taxes over import tariffs and a wider use of supply management to force the USA to pay more for our goods. All banned under MCUSA but since that is now trash...
