This is my first time posting on TERB, and apologies if this is not the right forum for this. I will not reveal any details of the agency or the SP in this post.
I had an incall session scheduled in downtown Toronto with a reputable agency, and there was a mixup at the location which resulted in a no show.
I reached the incall on time, and the scheduler provided me the buzz code and apartment number, and specifically asked me to go right in, and NOT knock under any circumstances. Before going up, I triple checked the address to make sure I was at the right place and triple checked the door number of the apartment.
When I reached the door of the apartment, I tried to open it but it was locked. I felt a slight panic. Was I at the wrong address, or did the scheduler provide me the wrong door. I messaged the scheduler immediately and waited outside the door for a minute. After that I went down to the lobby, and told the scheduler that the door was locked contrary to their instructions. The scheduler asked me to go back to the apartment, and walk right in as the SP was waiting for me. I thought that maybe I might have not turned the knob hard enough the first time. The second time I gave the knob a hard turn, and pushed the door with force, but it was clearly locked. I messaged the scheduler once again, and waited for 30 sec. I was getting increasingly nervous, because the apartment was right next to the elevator, and people were entering and exiting the lift while I waited.
I then decided to go back down to the lobby and had a back and forth with the scheduler. Once again, the scheduler asked me to go back up, without addressing the fact that the door was locked, contrary to their original instructions. My social anxiety was kicking in, and I decided to walk away, because I did not want to be seen going back and forth into the elevator and raise suspicion. I had a previous bad experience in a non SW friendly city due to waiting in the lobby, and did not want a repeat. As I informed them, they told me I am blacklisted from the agency.
In all honesty, Im not sure what the right thing to do was.
TLDR: I decided to cancel after reaching the location because the instructions provided to me were not accurate, and I got a mild social anxiety induced panic attack.
Edit: After reading some of the comments, I think it would be ok to name the agency. It was @MIRAGE. It was on Friday, 19th Feb at the Front/Spadina Location
