The image on the phone of the remote control is actually Infrared light, a part of the electromagnetic spectrum , but not strictly radio waves.
A lot of concealed camera use IR illuminators, but not all do.

First, I'll admit I've never used Air B&B. But from all the drama and bullshit I've heard over the years, I question why I would want to? Many places can be in great locations, but the price is comprable to a hotel. And, there is no service. And some make you clean up AND charge you a cleaning fee. Then there is the threat of hidden cameras or other violations of privacy.

It really doesn't make a lot of sense to me for a vacation...

Sadly the problem is happening in hotels as well and more wide spread then we might think.

This is bro science. Cameras do not detect radio waves. Hidden cameras don't necessarily emit anything. If camera has IR illumination you may see it with a camera, as mentioned above.

First off if I'm staying in an airbnb and I end up locked inn the basement and then I find a secret door - firstly I'm not going through that secret door - second if I did go through the secret door and found a bed with a video camera and a bucket to shit in then I'm definitley not going through the other door and down the stairs.... I mean who does that. I'm getting out of there... why do people do that - anyhoo its an awesome movie - kinda fun... dont know how it ends - I turned it off - gonna watch it tomorrow in the daylight.

So now I'm watching this Netflix documentary on the Ashly Madison site... anyone still use that site?
