I'm not a fan of AI bands. I mean, I like that one that does super fake and raunchy songs, but I don't think I'd ever pay money...Now, that being said, there's a dude on TikTok (probably on YouTube or another social media platform) that takes metal or grunge songs and has the AI make it sound like classic soul. It is awesome!

What intrigues me is how a computer can sample 100,000 songs and rearrange and mash up every lick, rhythm, melody, riff, and vocal it has downloaded into a new piece that comes across as a new professional music production. You can hear all the little pieces of great songs from the annals of music history in AI music. I dunno if that’s good or bad but at the very least it sounds real. And I suppose that’s the intent.
