I don't consider myself a musician, in the sense that my livelihood depends upon it, but have played the guitar for decades and do appreciate the appeal of the songs and how some are infectious. I would never pay for this AI stuff as I believe paying for the real thing and going to live events which I do and still buy CD's

Imho - the appeal is there as some of these AI recordings have dropped a earworm or two.it probably is the way of the future. eventually there won't be any more bands or songwriters. people will just put in a prompt to Ai like give me an album that sounds like the stone roses mixed with the tragically hip and wu tang clan. and it will just spit out the most brilliant combination of all that stuff.I don't consider myself a musician, in the sense that my livelihood depends upon it, but have played the guitar for decades and do appreciate the appeal of the songs and how some are infectious. Speaking of combination - I would want a combo of Rush (Moving Pictures era) + Van Halen (5150 era) + Def Leppard (Adrenalize and Hysteria era) + Ozzy (Bark at the Moon era) and Triumph (Spellbound era). Now that would be insane.
