Got some startling news for you two.......Trump is long gone at this point.
As much of a disaster as was he can't be blamed for what happened.
Live in the present....
So this is your inevitable post about "Trump Dysphoria Syndrome" where you say Trump is no longer relevant. And that means no one is ever allowed to criticize Trump or discuss him in your presence.

But of course, he is relevant here, because he arranged the withdrawal. Biden merely followed through with Trump's plan.

In any event, neither Trump nor Biden intended to stay in Ghan and even if they had, murders such as this would take place in any event. Unless the US was prepared to stay in Ghan literally FOREVER and garrison and police every town, murders - some political - would happen in Afghanistan.

So unless you can explain to me how Trump would have arranged a different outcome for this guy than Biden, Trump is either relevant or neither Biden nor Trump is relevant.

Well we're not suppressed. Our daughters can go to school and be whatever that want to be. They can go outside by themselves and not worry about being stoned to death. I won't be beheaded for saying something some whacko thinks is wrong without a trial. Yeah our taxes suck but it beats living in that shithole. I have friends that are from Afganastan and they will totally agree with me.
I had Afghan food, great food from a mom-and-pop shop, very nice people. There are some here on this board that won't go outside of McDonald's to appreciate good cuisine and experience another culture because of sheer ignorance.

Actually, he probably was and given the Taliban all are so renowned for their sense of humour, they were all laughing his head right off.
More cheering than a high school football game. This is the kind of thing they find entertaining...

Because this thread is about what's happening now. You can believe I shit talked the Bush's a ton when that was relevant.

Time out here. Dubya Bush got the US into a 20 year no win war and you are arguing about whether it was Biden's or Trumps fault? Short memories?

Does Hamas fight for freedom? Because Taliban has a pretty much identical stance...

So Your parroting Donald Trump now eh?.........If you don't like it here get the hell out....

Fine role model you adopted there.
Why do you object to others mentioning Trump, but refer to him yourself?

Sorry. Don't follow Palestinian politics. You picked the wrong "leftie".

No
Trump is no longer relevant because he is no longer making the executive decisions
What it means is it is inaccurate to assign blame to trump or deflect blame from Joe Biden who is making executive decisions

But of course, he is relevant here, because he arranged the withdrawal. Biden merely followed through with Trump's plan.
Three massive problems with that line of logic (or lack of logic)
1. Joe Biden painted Trump as untrustworthy and a lair. Why would anyone follow through on the plans arranged by a lying untrustworthy person?
2. When Biden took the oath of office he became the commander in chief of the US military'. All subsequent military operations are his responsibility.
3. Had the operation gone well as he expected. Joe Biden would have taken all the credit . Assume all the credit, then you assume all the responsibility
The buck stops right there

In addition all military plans need to be dynamic as conditions can change rapidly.
As commander in chief he has the responsibility to review (at an executive level) the operational plan, access the updated intelligence and then

  1. approve the plan
  2. request modifications be made or
  3. cancel the plan
The buck stops right there
