For the record, we live in a time when men can be women (according our transgender brethren), therefore abortion isn't a women's rights issue. It's a men's rights issue. Extra thanks to the transgender among us.
There is a well known ethnic group that often abort the fetus if it is the "wrong" gender.
Why don't you just say Chinese. That's what you're getting at. What point are you trying to make about the Chinese? What are the reasons given for wanting an abortion? One f the reasons I heard is that the fetus is the "wrong" gender.
as usual , you word the poll in Republican speak. Where is the pro-choice option? Sorry, I can't vote with your 3 choices. Are you pro-abortion, anti-abortion or indifferent? (AS usual, I do not vote in my own poll.)
Says the Anti-choice lobby. Always taking away peoples rights because “they know best.”No, pro abortion is the correct term.
Pro choice would be someone who is anti-abortion in all but the rarest cases.
I don't see why you people are getting all hot about this. Pro-life, pro- choice pro or against abortion are interchangeable. I understand the politics of it, but it's no different from the fetus vs. baby "controversy ". I think that the answer is simple: more anal sex!Who the fuck is "pro abortion"? That is a rediculous term. I believe in every womans right to make her own decisions. But i doubt even women that have had more then 1 abortion are pro abortion. Typical dumb ass black or white statement.
You conveniently forgot the other option: less sex.I don't see why you people are getting all hot about this. Pro-life, pro- choice pro or against abortion are interchangeable. I understand the politics of it, but it's no different from the fetus vs. baby "controversy ". I think that the answer is simple: more anal sex!
Yeah, but how realistic is that? You conveniently forgot the other option: less sex.
First, virtually no women decides to abort a late term baby unless it isn't viable or a risk to her life. The vast majority of them would do it in the first trimester.ROTFLMFAO!! Look up European abortion restrictions. As for the Americans' view on abortion- the support falls off as the term increases; all polls show that and have been for years and there's almost no support for unlimited/late term abortion or abortion as the birth control substitute. What you don't see is most obvious- America, like most of the western world, is pro choice, but with conditions. The SCOTUS is simply returning the option to set those conditions to the people where it belongs.
No, it is not. Pro-choice means it is the woman's decision outside of anyone else's. It means she is either willing to carry the child or not. It is her body, and she should have autonomy over it. Abortion is a difficult topic for people for many reasons. Women have them for hundreds of different reasons: rape, incest, would have no support in raising the child, deadbeat father, career choices — plus many that I couldn't think of. Sure, putting the child up for adoption is not a bad thing, but you're forcing someone to carry the child for 40 weeks. I think that's unfair. No, pro abortion is the correct term.
Pro choice would be someone who is anti-abortion in all but the rarest cases.
Is this always true or even mostly true? Are they under no pressure from the father and/or family members?I mean, we all believe the women here are doing this by choice, and not being forced into it. I would think we would all want them to have the option of doing this or leaving the biz, because they have autonomy over their bodies.
Personally, I don't support unfettered abortion on demand but do in certain circumstances. The question then becomes what are the acceptable circumstances and who decides (only the woman and the woman alone?)?I don't think you've set out the only choices. I think the vast majority of people support LIMITED abortion, and that was not even one of your three choices.
Why don't you just say Chinese. That's what you're getting at. What point are you trying to make about the Chinese?

It's your poll, but if you want more responses you might consider editing it to provide more choices.Personally, I don't support unfettered abortion on demand but do in certain circumstances.
