It took fred forever to answer peoples private messages with u and now someone is telling u what happened and your questioning it?
Why would they lie about someone having cancer. That is not at all appropriate.

There was a thread started in the lounge on February 3'rd that stated that Fred had indeed died.

There was a 2 word response from Fred (supposedly) saying, "please ignore".

And now 3 weeks later, he is indeed dead and there have been legal haggling about his estated.

So was he indeed dead back on February 3'rd after all?

Sad that he's gone. Cancer is an awful disease. I don't really know that much about him, but I wish him well in the after-life. In a way, he'll live on on this forum.

Well maybe a nomination system and voting if we are just talking about awards for fun. Based on things like contributions to the board.

If sponsors are willing to "donate" prizes then the sponsors should pick the winners.

Just a thought which I have given all of 10 minutes to consider so certainly open to suggesetions and thoughts.

why just paying advertisers ? When the time comes and a single person is dedicated to take over the Administrator handle he will make his own handle and everyone will be introduced to him/her. For now everything can still be directed to Fred Zed, Mark Service, or any of the mods as usual

It's sad when a community loses a member and that's what terb is, Fred's community.
