Jodeci was comprised of brothers K-Ci and Jo Jo Hailey and brothers Dalvin "Mr Dalvin" DeGrate and Donald "DeVante Swing" DeGrate. DeVante Swing was the group's producer and he also produced for other R&B artists.

This is right up there with my favorite Mariah Carey tracks. The Bad Boy Records remix of "Honey" featuring Bad Boy artists The LOX and Ma$e. Puff Daddy would like to think he produced this joint but he didn't. It was in house producer Stevie J. Great sample of The World Famous Supreme Team's "Hey DJ". Mariah is stunning in this video, the best she ever looked in her career. This was in 1997 which would have made her 27 years old at the time.

Aretha Franklin covered and re-arranged this song (written by Redding) and made it a big hit. Her version may be more pop, pretty, and polished but Redding's original is more raw.

Sad to hear about Brenton Wood. I posted a few of his songs, really dig his sound. Gimme Little Sign is obviously his shining glory but this one is my favorite. RIP
