You're right about Rock Your Baby I mixed it up. To me though that doesn't ring disco, its a bit slower tempo. I love the song nonetheless.Definitely one of the early disco greats. I believe "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae (1974) was the first acknowledged disco record.
"Rock The Boat" by the Hues Corporation soon followed as a re-release in 1974. It hadn't gotten much airplay when it was first released in 1973, but when disco started to take off it was re-released and became a hit.
