Haven't been on TERB much recently so just catching up on this thread. Glad to see it still going. In my limited spare time recently I have been working on music playlists. From 80's hip hop. To House and dance. 90's r&b. The Quiet Storm. We have been blessed with an abundance of amazing black music over the years, its truly amazing. This one gotta be one of my ATF's.

Heatwave was a funk/disco band from the mid to late 70's. Their most recognizable member is songwriter/keyboardist Rod Temperton, who penned a few of Michael Jackson's classic songs including Thriller, Rock With You and Off The Wall. Really an underrated band they put out classics like Boogie Nights, Groove Line and this one, which is a personal favorite

Came across this artist when putting together my Quiet Storm playlist. He was part of the Philly soul collective of the 70's. This is one of the earlier Quiet Storm releases

Billy Ocean was big in the 1980's but for some reason falls under the radar. So many hits including Caribbean Queen, Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car and Suddenly. But this one is my ATF song of his, his earliest hit record from 1981
