Same title, different song.

I loved Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, and as a 14 year old their tragic deaths were the first entertainer death losses I experienced and felt sadness for.

Peggy Sue was one of the first '45s I ever bought.
Did not know that. Also Ritchie Valens, (O DONNA) The Big Bopper, (Chantilly Lace) and another who was supposed to be on that plane, but cancelled because of the bad weather, Waylon Jennings. And the great tribute hit song by Don McLean, BYE BYE MISS AMERICAN PIE, THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED.
