You're welcome bro. My gosh I completely forgot about Atlantis. We went there a few times during the 90's. And the Docks of course. I'd give almost anything to recreate those days. This song was HUUGE at Atlantis (Ontario Place) revolving dance floor, HOLY SHIT was it a hit.
Loved it, as soon as I heard it, I'd fly to the floor so fast for it, such a beat, loved it, still do, listening to it takes me right back to all those hotties on the floor, damn.
Would do anything to go back for a few weeks of clubbing in '96, what a time. Thanks for the post dude.
Right, but what about Senior's Thursday at Shopper's, and cheaper movie tickets at Cineplex?i just discovered that i posted in the wrong topic...should of been in the Album topic....old age has its disadvantages lol
X....it is a great Album....and truth be told.....the track Can I Get A Witness was a Marvin Gaye tune,,,,and at the time i never heard of Marvin....but that sure as hell changed shortly thereafter lolRight, but what about Senior's Thursday at Shopper's, and cheaper movie tickets at Cineplex?
Not to mention OHIP covered prescriptions!
And easily one of my favourite early Stones albums. We used to play it constantly at the Fraternity house...
more pop orientated...needs a thicker bass line and stronger presence of drums.....what makes this tune good is Mary Wells and her beautiful voice...just my opinion
never mind being in my top 50 all time favs...this is in my top 20.....such a simple tune...but one that i can listen to over and over.....in my little R&B Soul world this is a Champion song...............LA LAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..................you have a magical voiceLaLa Brooks on lead vocals
Reminds me of their classic "Pressure Drop"The Mandrill family's own personal Canada Day weekend anthem....
That was very good.. never heard of them before.More blue-eyed soul, Righteous Brothers style...
