Been so busy with life I didn't even realize that Bobby Caldwell passed away last Tuesday. Damn RIP.
This is my favorite song of his, I'm sure I've posted it here before. The piano riff is everything. And of course Bobby's voice - blue eyed soul perfection.
Dougie..you may have missed the death last week of Clarence"fuzzy" Haskins....one of the founding members of the Parliaments..I just want to testify .was their breakout hit...then they morphed into Parliament/Funkadelic ...Fuzzy is in the R&R Hall of Fame....

Yes I did miss that. RIP. Parliament-Funkadelic as I said before was instrumental to the rise of the g funk west coast hip hop sound of the early 90's. A stupid talented group of musicians

Cuba Gooding Sr. had a great voice. Simple bassline but very effectual. Guitaring a nice added element as well as the strings. Sad that they don't make music like this anymore :(

Heard tonight in the opening scene for "Lucky Hank", the new Bob Odenkirk tv series.

Thank goodness for the Shazam app.

I've seen the adverts for that what did you think of it so far?
