Red Bull has over-extended it's brand, it's founder Dietrich Mateschitz died in 2022. Since that time the brand has been in decline, the floor fell out when Christian Horner was forced to resign. It was always inflated with a valuation 2/3 the size of Coke, it's domination of F1 is over. RB Leipzig finished 3rd in the Bundesliga in 2026, it may never reach that height again.

The travails of Mateshitz home town club.
This belongs in Football thread you started. Lets stick to F1 news here. Cheers

I broadened the topic to show that Red Bull is a golden statue with feet of clay, their dominance of F1 is over.
Yes I think so. Horner was booted out in a power struggle. You cannot deny what Horner has achieved. Not only did he build Redbull F1, he kept it at the top for a long time, then he started an engine program, which in year 1 has yielded the top PU in F1. The man has serious org skills. Like him or not its impossible to deny. I think he will end up either at Aston or starting BYDs F1 program.

I never would have believed it without seeing it.

Mad Max has turned into fifa in culo Max, Red Bull has gone downhill . The passing of Mateschitz hurt a little more with each passing year.

Lance Stroll sits beside his Rubicon swatting flies.

Red Bull gives you ass. I'll take a braising shot of espresso every time.

Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli both punished 3 grids for various infractions at the Hungary Grand Prix today.
Hamilton starts 5th instead of qualifying 2nd. Kimi starts 7th instead of qualifying 4th.
Hamilton was also docked 5 seconds at the Belgian GP last week.

While the 5 second penalty last week was dodgy, this was not. Being informed late by a charging Piastri by his team was not enough to avoid the penalty.

HAM deserved a grid drop for the race this weekend, Kimi did not. The FIA needs to drop the red flag more often to prevent some of these stupid grid drops. VER should get a penalty for delaying Q3. You cause a stoppage during Qualifying you get the penalty

At Spa HAM deserved a penalty for hitting his pit crew but not for the collision with RUS. RUS caused the accident and paid for it.

McLaren upgrade worked as Lando Norris wins in Hungary.

Lewis Hamilton handed another 5 second penalty, this time for speeding in the pit lane. Older age catching up with Lewis?

Max did not get the penalty because he cleared his car as soon as he spun, not sure he deserved a penalty or it warranted a red flag. Totally agree on both of your points on Hamiltons penalty’s last race but the officiating has been terrible this year. All of this nonsence of reviewing after the race needs to stop. Make a decision and let the team/driver work to overcome it with how many laps are left.
