I think "Drive to Survive" has finally jumped the shark. Watching this latest season and its need to manufacture soap opera storylines and conflicts is a little too much now. As someone who works with filmakers / editors, its so well shot and beautifully cut together, but the "reality schlock" of shows like "Below Deck" is too high now.
Didn’t think Honda could shit the bed worse than their last disaster at Mclaern with a new power unit. Alonso the victim of that cluster fuck as well.

That's a shame, I was hoping Lance Stroll would win the Driver's Championship.

Instead of flat out driving, drivers now have to harness power transitioning from electrical to combustion, leaving drivers unimpressed with new cars.
Should have gone full electric or left combustion alone. What a mess!

Started watching pre-race last night, and turned it off when Oscar had his brain fart.
Just watched the race replay, and that was really fun.
I think they've figured out how to keep viewers interested beyond the first lap.

The race was much better than I thought it would be based on qualies. The Ferrari launch was amazing. And Max's performance shows that Redbull can be competitive if they get reliable cars. I just worry that this will be another year of "one team got it right and will sweep the season". Also... George is suck a fucking twat...anyone but him, PLEASE! I don't mind his driving, I just need to tune out once he starts speaking.
