All McLaren front row in Hungary. Now just dont shoot themselves in the foot.
Red Bull/Verstappen domination over.
George Russell out in Q1 because Mercedes failed to put enough fuel in his car. 😲

Gotta wonder about Checo's future the way he has been driving lately. Big crash today in quali.

Great performance from McLaren today.
Feel bad for Lando having to give up the win.
First 1,2 for McLaren since 2021. Lando lost the race at the start. He can have no complaints. He only got ahead of Piastri due to McLaren trying to cover Hamilton.

And he Lando trying to take the shine off Piastri's first ever F1 win was stupid

Verstappen doing dumb things when he no longer has a dominant car to blow the field away. A leopard never changes its spots. Happy for the Hammer holding him off and finishing P3.

Seventh different winner this season. This is what racing should be about 👏

Verstappen cannot manage the stresses well when put under pressure, every race he has been subjected to equal competition, he either breaks down mentally or breaks someone else...he admitted to that effect after the 2021 fiasco saying "if racing is like this every year, I will not want to continue "

Max Verstappen is a crybaby, would he like some whine with his Gouda.

I'm very happy Hot Mess won the race.

I don't like George much, but he earned that win! Smart decision to go one-stop. And Hamilton looks like biggest whiny little bitch in the cool-down room. Was probably expecting team orders to let him win.
Redbull... I'm a Max fan but they better take the next 4 weeks and sort their shit out! Sergio has GOT to go! He's been nothing but a fucking liability out there. And I'm calling it right now... Max goes to Mercedes next year.

Not over just yet, they mentioned at the very end of the post race coverage that Russell’s car is under investigation for being under weight.

Explains why Russell was able to do one stop. He will be disqualified and the deserving driver crowned Spa champion. Hammer time again 👏 Haters burning in hell

Two out of three victories and a third place finish. Hamilton is going to regret his move to Ferrari

I have a huge collection of Formula 1 races, especially from the 1970's/ 80's. I upload races periodically to my account at archive(dot)org:

This page also has some hard-to-find TV series. I add new material frequently, usually in batches, like an entire TV series, or full season of a series.

Highlights so far:

Sixteen 'onboard' races from the 2009-2011 period. At that time UK had a 'red button' station for selected races where the viewer could 'program' their own race by following the onboard camera of any driver, at any time. What I have is the races as programmed by whomever did the video capture for 'thebox.bz', a torrent site that closed ten years ago.

The onboard races have a small 'picture in picture' of the regular broadcast, and no commentary, only ambient track noise and some team to driver radio instructions.

These races are like watching live video games. The starts are especially exciting.

1984 Monaco Grand Prix: This was a great wet race, controversially stopped just after half distance. This was Ayrton Senna's first F1 podium, but the real star was Stefan Bellof, who gets a lot of screen time as he carved his way through the field. If this isn't the greatest pass in F1 history, it's in the top 5:

1989 Australian Grand Prix: Another great wet race with many incidents.

These .gifs were made from a lesser quality video source than the full races I uploaded.

2005 Japanese Grand Prix: A terrific race where the winner started near the end of the grid.

1979 Race of Champions: Non-championship Formula 1 race, from Brands Hatch, England.

Some of these races were previously uploaded to an account which has been deleted by the site because of copyright claims. A shitty quality 98 MB TV -> VHS divX video of a Jeremy Hotz standup comedy special from the 1990's cost me 200+ uploads.

If there's a vintage F1 race that you'd like to see, let me know, and I'll post it, if I have it.

Confirmed. Russell disqualified. Hamilton declared rightful winner 👏
Haters gonna hate. Hammer haters burning in hell right now 😂

Verstappen no longer dominating every race. Great for second half of the season. F1 on summer break.

archive(dot)org is supposed to be a site with just public domain material. but in actuality, people upload anything, and on rare occasions, the material or account is removed. It's free and very safe, and alternative to uploading video to YouTube which is often removed immediately because of pre-set copyright claims. I use minimum description tags, so people only find my videos if they look for them specifically.

Most of my F1 uploads have been Xvid .avi file type, AKA CINEPACK. Those are 'download only'. The online viewer only plays .mp4 video file types, so the site automatically generates an .mp4 version, if a different video format is uploaded.

I upload files once, and all download bandwidth comes from the site, so it doesn't affect me at all if there are many views/ downloads.

Because large files sometimes freeze temporarily while buffering, for anyone who just wants to see the videos in the best resolution, downloading the CINEPACK and then recycling the file after viewing is probably the best option.

I think the 'onboard' races were only broadcast for a few years. For the last few I have in 2012, the first 2-3 laps aren't available, so I probably won't upload those.

In the 2010 European Grand Prix, about 19 minutes in, the capper was following Mark Webber when he hit Heikki Kovalainen and went airborn:
